Hey so a small thing that literally everyone who sees this is capable of is correcting any “used to” statements about native people in this country.

“Native people used to live in this National Park” No. They still do.

“Native people used to tell these stories-” No. They still do.

“Native people used to use this plant as a natural remedy-” No. They still do.

Better yet, familiarize yourself with the tribes local to you. Odds are, they do not yet have federal recognition. You can still read the stories they have to share, you can share their ongoing battle for recognition with others, you can sign petitions and spread the word to others to do so as well. But do something.

I haven’t posted anything in a while so i made two ventsonas/ocs (the second one also counted my main one, but I mostly use him for vents)

We have who ally was heavily based on my confidence of being a woman at the time (and mainly a trans lesbian). she’s my old fursona from middle school given another purpose. and she’s constantly happy but always seeks validation about her gender.

And then in between those four years. She comes out to one of her cousins and they reject her. Some of her friends moved on. she got send hate mobs from transphobes online (Her only safe space). and coupled with her increasing dysphoria, she just gets worse and worse. until she becomes closeted again.

That’s exactly where larva is at now. He’s a miserable, dirty self-hating, spiteful bastard. he’s extremely envious (queer) of people happier than him. and spends most of his days crying about how ugly and brutish he looks or doomscrolling on transmisogynistic hellscapes. if it wasn’t obvious he’s an exaggerated version of me. or like a reflection.
