Marching band be like: watch the conductor but also use your peripheral vision to watch the people around you and focus on your feet and focus on playing and move really fast and take full breaths so you can play your instrument and move the bottom half of your body without moving the top part and face where you’re going but face the front

And people still say it’s “not a sport”
