These last 3 pages (9-10-11) were inspired by @kei_yuki_heart on X . Thank you so much for suggesting the idea that permitted me to bring a happier ending to my mini comic and allow me to use it.🩷🩷
I did not put a date but there are elements which permit an approximation of the time that has passed between pages 8 and 9: The Grey Havens have expanded ( more ships, a village has grown )but Círdan is still wearing Narya , so it is safe to assume we are at some point after the end of the second age but before Sauron rises again :) which makes, if we follow the original timeline, a HUGE amount of time ( but probably shorter in TROP timeline, Gandalf already being in the picture)
Drawing a youthful version of Adar, newly healed and reborn, was quite a challenge. I couldn't find young Sam's images references except one when he was a teen 😅.(so yes, he has the same appearance in this new body )
I hope you won't find this too unsettling .
I also assumed that since Adar and Círdan are among the most ancient elves of Arda, they would have known each other in the early days. Why not in Cuiviénen, or during the events of the Great Journey or maybe in the area of Beleriand before Adar was corrupted by Melkor?
