Elijah: I take it Chinese take-out is on the menu now?

It was the last place that Marco expected to bump into one of the restaurants regulars, but then, stranger things had happened in the past. So, passing by Mara on the pier, he flashed them a smile. “Didn’t think you hung out in places like these,” he teased lightly.

“Touché,” they raised an eyebrow before letting a chuckle escape their lips. “Oh, I gotta stay humble somehow,” they told him jokingly, “the rides are amazing.” But the paparazzis? They we’re not fun at all. They have their moments, sure. That’s usually when Mara decides to make it fun, but other times it can be annoying. “I’m gonna have to do a scene here for my show soon. I’d like to come here for a fun reason before it becomes work related.”

Alex stabbed her salad with her fork, she tried to collect as much lettuce as she could. “Next year I need you to text me your costume at least a week in advance.” She told her sister. “This way we don’t end up twinning again. I already have one twin and don’t need another.”  She remarked with a laugh. “Did you end up at least having a good time at the party?”

“A week in advanced?” she raised an eyebrow, watching her sister stab the salad with her fork. “Do you not want to match with any of your siblings, or just anyone in general?” if it was the latter than that was going to be hard. Mara understood wanting to be the only dressed for a certain costume, or to look the best out of everyone, but something about this conversation was making her feel a certain way. She couldn’t explain why, or how, but there was something. But she pushed that aside, as best as she could, “The party was great, actually. It was just what I needed.”

Taking a few steps inside of the cafe Chloe could already feel her mouth water some as the scent of the food hit her. Making her way to the hostess stand she waited towards the entrance at Ricci’s she let her eyes glance over at the bar. “Wasn’t expecting this place to be so popular.” She admitted to whom she assumed was another prospect next to her. “Have you eaten here before?” 

“I have, I usually try to come when it’s not as popular as it is now,” they replied. If they weren’t craving the food here they would’ve gone somewhere else. “The food here is good,” they commented before taking baseball cap off their head. They fixed up their hair, glancing around the room. They started to notice the few stares they were getting.

“I’ve got nothin’ against cats,” he starts with a shrug before taking a sip of his beer. “But there’s just somethin’ about dogs that make them better. I know there’re some affectionate cats out there but havin’ a dog run at you after a long day at work is far more rewarding to me.” Logan raises a hand, “personal preference and all.”

“I have to agree with you on that one, I never had a cat bur my two pups are amazing,” well, technically her pug is older than her golden retriever. But to her they always be considered a puppy. “Bentley gets excited, but Lola just does the most,” she laughed. When she got Lola she was worried how she would interact with Bentley. He was annoyed by her, at first, but adapted to her being there as she got bigger. Now they constantly play with each other, well whenever Bentley is not sleeping. “It sucks when I have to travel for filming. Usually I’d bring Bentley, but now that I have Lola,” she trailed off with a shrug, “She’s bigger than Bentley and I haven’t really tested out how that would go with her.”

Sensing he’s found a moment to defend his own likes, Logan grinned. “Sometimes. If it’s good pineapple, it’s a little roasted on the outside and then… pineapple-y on the inside. C’mon, you totally want to know. Your curious now. Don’t tell me you’re not.” At the end of the day, really, people liked and disliked certain things. But to dislike something without ever trying it? Aside from breaking laws, Logan believed that where you could try something (and it be a harmless try) you should.

“I--” she froze for a moment before shaking her head with a chuckle, “you got me there.” She never really cared for the pineapple pizza debate. She thought it was a weird combination, but she never thought about trying it until now. “Maybe I’ll get a slice later on,” she told him before she finished her coffee. Knowing how much she loves food, she was surprised she didn’t try it before, “Any other food I should try? ”

Nothing like having their own drink spill all over themselves. They sighed in frustration as they turned to go back to the bar, asking for napkins to clean themselves. “Drunk people are annoying,” they muttered, aware of the fact that they were the pot calling the kettle black. They dried themselves up as best as they could, but they knew they would not be able to get rid of the smell of alcohol on them. They threw the napkins out and made her way out of the party. They just needed a moment outside before going back inside. They weren’t expecting to see a prince outside. They tilted their head to the side before furrowing their eyebrows together, “are you suppose to be a specific prince or just a prince in general? ”
