now pause and enjoy the déjà vu, because it’s word for word the same script anti-shifters use.

& here’s the funny part ,, lucid dreaming is very much real. studied, documented, experienced by an absurd number of people. so watching strangers aggressively deny something that is both scientifically recognized and personally verifiable starts to feel less intimidating & more . . . kind of ridiculous.

at some point it just clicks. people can be passionately wrong. like, deeply convinced and still completely off.

and once you see that pattern play out in one place, it gets a lot easier to stop taking it personally in another.

— learn shadowgraphy !! the art of shaping light & shadow w ur hands allows u to form the silhouettes of different animals, then shift fluidly between them.

— sever the self from the script imposed upon it. much of the frustration arises from measuring ur experience against others,, especially the more dramatic portrayals of physical or vividly mental shifts. not all thresholds announce themselves w spectacle. attend instead to the subtle: the drift of instinct, the quiet reorientation of thought, the flicker of imagination. relinquish the tyranny of what ought to occur, and dwell in what is.

— explore the artifice of transformation as ritual practice. engage w traditions of deliberate metamorphosis. drag, fursuiting, geisha or geiko presentation, clowning. these are literally embodied inquiry into identity’s malleability.

— make transformation accessible, fluid, & cost-effective.

• keep ur hair light to allow for frequent dyeing; rely on non-permanent options such as clip-in extensions or temporary color sprays. this may be a more unconventional approach, but i used to apply eyeshadow to my hair & set w hairspray for a quick, inexpensive shift in appearance.

• favor traditional nail lacquers over gel or acrylic for flexibility in changing color. consider finishes that refract & transform under light.

• colored contacts can be striking, but if ur eyes are sensitive or upkeep is impractical, use color theory !! strategic eyeshadow placement can enhance or alter the perceived tone of your eyes.

• let posture become an extension of transformation. deliberate turns, sudden realignments, fluid transitions, measured gestures, the eloquence of stillness disrupted.

• study the architecture of the face through makeup; contour not merely to enhance, but to reconfigure.

• understand color as an alchemical force. what you wear reshapes perception.

• choose accessories as instruments of transformation. invest in pieces that transform w light or temperature, such as holographic or iridescent materials, or mood-reactive jewelry.

• cultivate a mutable silhouette through layering, asymmetry, & transformable garments. reversible jackets, adaptable hoodies, or the interplay of contrasting textures such as gloss + matte or leather + sheer.

— DIY ur own gear. while purchasing accessories like ears, fangs, or tails can be satisfying, crafting them yourself allows for precision & personalization at every level, often resulting in a deeper sense of alignment.

— immerse yourself in the shapeshifting entities beyond the familiar !!

• what form could embody your presence ? (statue, effigy, framed likeness, abstract symbol) you can also make a statue out of clay.

• what sigil might function as your invocation mark ? make one !!

• what crystals correspond to you ?

• what plant/flower correspond to you ?

• what herbs correspond to you ?

• what incense/scent/oil feels like your atmospheric signature ?

• what candle colour corresponds to you ?

• what are acceptable offerings at your altar ? (dancing, singing, your favorite silly drink…)

• now, what offering would you reject ?hmm ???

• what ritual would petition your attention ? & conversely, how would you respond ?

• compose a prayer in your name !!

— engage with resonant frequencies such as 999 Hz or 1111 Hz, often framed as angelic harmonics. whether symbolic or perceptual, they function as auditory liminal spaces.

— pursue sacred linguistics. (hebrew, latin, arabic, indigenous languages..)

— DO BACKSTRETCHES !!111!!!111!!!! if you are of the angelic temperament, then the spine becomes a sacred column. loosen what has been carried too long. let the body remember it was not made only for endurance.

— try ancient methods of scribing if it calls to you. medieval scribal methods hold particular allure to me. you can age parchment with tea or coffee. vellum-making exists too, if you don’t mind the smell.

— if protective instinct is intrinsic to your nature, direct it at your favorite person with consent & clarity. being someone’s guardian angel, when offered freely, becomes a form of devotion rather than possession.

— seek elevation, both literal and perceptual. rooftops can serve as vantage points for contemplation. but stay safe please !!! height is meaningful only when it does not erase grounding.

— if your angelic identity is rooted in divine machinery rather than religion, cultivate technical literacy. learn systems of computation, networks, and code as one would once learn scripture.
