Hello! I'm hoping you're still around because I'd like to ask you a quick question regarding Artkal and Perler beads! You did a comparison of the two in the past, which is what led me to learn about Artkal beads. Since that was made, however, Artkal has introduced a lot more colours. I'm wondering if, in your experience, you've noticed any identical colours between the two and, if so, which Artkal colours were these?
Oh man! I’m sorry I’ve been way outta the loop lately, with Tumblr especially, so I’m not sure how long ago you asked this. But I can answer now! (For future reference I’m most active on Instagram, if you have one and would like to ask anything or even actually see what I’ve been making haha I'm ManicMadeGeekery there too)I only recently got the new colors despite them being released last year. I do not have the new Perler colors however, for a couple of reason, so I’m not sure if any new Artkal’s match new Perler’s. Other than that I really think they nailed it with these colors. I really don’t think any of the new Artkal’s were previously done by Perler. On top of that, Artkal changed their formula and it melts almost identically to Perler. They blended fantastically before, but they still managed to make it even better!I did throw together a chart for myself, and was requested by a friend to share it as well. Of course keep in mind that the colors are probably not the exact same as the physical beads because our eyes see color differently and monitor calibration varies, but I’ve done my best haha. Here it is; https://imgur.com/eFIuCSgHopefully you didn’t ask this too long ago, and I hope that helped!I should do a new post about this too sometime haha.
