i will always hate how the s3 writing tried to appease jeremiah as a character and bellyjere fans so much at the cost of the writing. I liked the season but outside of bellyconrad the writing was so awful and so many of the writing choices were so bizarre and served no purpose for story or characters except to give jeremiah an out.

I'm going to start with my biggest heartbreak—Staylor. They were kinda cute in S1 and absolutely everything in S2 and then wtf was s3?? I was sooo excited to get a season where they were together and then boom! They're not only not a couple for most of the season, they're fckng cheaters???? Just why?? And all so when we get to the scenes where Taylor and steven find out Jeremiah cheated, they don't have a leg to stand on and actually call jeremiah the piece of shit he is. Steven's reaction to finding out his little sister was cheated on was one of the worst things in that show when you compare it to how he reacted to Conrad confessing his feelings to belly. S3 Steven made noooo sense sorry.

Second is my biggest betrayal; the decimation of belly's character. Listen, she never made good decisions, she always listened to what other people wanted way too much. And I do get that they were trying to show just how much she lost of herself in her relationship with jere and how she was reacting aggressively to being told she might be making a mistake getting married bc, well of course she was scared. But they made her annoying so many times and rarely (if ever) gave her the space to defend herself from Jeremiah. Ik even in S2 they show how she feels guilty towards him and can't defend herself but that's why they were supposed to give her that bit of growth in S3.
