In case you haven’t heard. The locks were taken down just a week or so after my parents locked up their love, and about five after Dan and I were there. Glad we squeezed it in!

Last month, I returned to one of my favorite places in the world (of those I’ve visited)–FRANCE. And, the best part, I got to share it with my parents! The next few posts will be photos from our trip featuring Paris, Versailles, Normandy, and London.

I haven’t seen Frank and Pam in well over a year, so this was much needed quality time spent wandering Paris streets, eating delicious food, riding the metro as much as we could, trekking up north to visit famous WWII sites, and visiting oh-so many museums. This was their first trip to Europe and I’m pretty sure they enjoyed it. (Perhaps they’ll get the travel bug and I’ll convince them to go somewhere fun with me again soon!)

You’ll remember that I went to Paris before with my main squeeze, Daniel, back in December, so I’m glad I was able to visit some new places this time. Here are a few of the highlights/recommendations from this trip:

- Churchill War Rooms | Imperial War Museums, London

- NORMANDY. All of it. Especially if you have any interest in WWI, history, etc. (Take a tour that includes a cider tasting–you won’t regret it!)

- Le Café de la Paix

- Musée d'Orsay

- A relaxing boat trip along the Seine
