When Jason was Robin, Barbara was an older sister/babysitter figure who didn’t see him as anything more than a kid and dismissed his bold attempts at flirting as such. He idolized her and she’s protective of him, even though she could come across as strict. (e.g., After catching him smoking, she warned him that the next time that happens, he will “eat the pack one butt at a time.”)

In canon, Barbara’s on-and-off romantic interest is Dick Grayson, a.k.a. the “older brother”, who becomes a recurring point of comparison. In Batman Eternal, Jason–returning as Red Hood along with an volatile relationship with the rest of the BatFam–joined her on a mission where Toy Master manipulated her vision so she could only see Jason as an enemy.

Jason withstood her attacks without returning a hit. All the while, he tried to break her out of control by recalling in detail the first time they met (thus proving his identity), which he claimed he could only do because it was important to him.

He even stopped her from making a grave mistake by taking on the burden of dropping a man she wanted dead off the side of a building, knowing she would save the man because “she’s better than [him]”.

Michael Sheen’s face is so hard to draw but nothing beats the satisfaction of having captured even just a fraction of his feral energy. I feel like most of my enjoyment of Good Omens stems from the fact that none of these actors know how to not do the absolute most with their faces at all times

the hardest part was settling on the exact millisecond i wanted to redraw because every single frame is gold… You can tell how I progressively spent more and more time on each one lol
