Why it's okay that you can't fully boycott YouTube
I've been seeing a lot of people feel guilty about breaking their boycott for various reasons, school, mental health and other stuff.
Well, I just wanna say this to those who feel guilt. It's okay that you broke your boycott, wanna know why? Cause not everyone can do a boycott of YouTube, it's an unfortunate thing, but that's the truth. I know you feel guilty over you having to watch a video for school or having to watch a video because your feeling hurt right now, but you don't have to.
What I'm trying to say is that some people can't do a full on boycott, they just can't. I wished everyone could, but for some that's not an option.
But let me something, just because you watched one or two videos in the last two weeks, mean nothing, what matters is that you boycotted in all of that time.
Heck it doesn't even matter if your not fully boycotting, you could just be cutting down your YouTube hours in half, or maybe just using front ends or sharing videos to your friends. Sure that is still giving traffic, but it's far far less traffic than YouTube is used to getting from you.
What matters is that your cutting down on your YouTube time and that's great! If you are able to, try to fully boycott and get rid of YouTube than please do that, that would be incredible! But if you can't thats fine too, I just implore to try to limit yourself as much as you can, use apps to limit how much you go on the app, use frontends, download videos and share them with people.
I want everyone to know, that it is okay that some of you can't boycott, as long as your trying to reduce your traffic as much as you can, that's enough for me. Please, your mental health is so much more important than most realize, take care of yourself. Ignore everyone who is trying to make you feel bad about not fully boycotting.
Just know that your trying your best and that's okay.
