Seeing characters in the Goblin Emperor look over Maia and go from “this is my emperor?” to “this is my emperor.” Is soooo important to me

One thing I looooveeee about the Goblin Emperor is even though Maia absolutely doesn’t want to be emperor, he immediately put on that face. Like after the initial panic he could have been like “I don’t want to do this and I will let everyone know that” or he could have honestly pulled a weaponized incompetence card and been so purposefully lazy/unserious about the job until the court eventually found a way to get him off the throne, but no. He immediately acted gracious and composed. Even though on the inside he was crumbling, he was going to fake knowing what he was doing until he knew what to do. Even when people started seeing him as he was, an inexperienced kid who maybe shouldn’t be emperor based solely on bloodline, he still clung to his air while growing as much as he could and freaking out behind the scenes. Even though he stumbled through a lot of the way, and he wasn’t perfect at it by any means, he kind of instinctively knew how to carry himself as an emperor. He, as the kids say, locked in

I have to admit, before tsc I couldn’t care less about Jean or his future after tkm, but after reading and rereading tsc I just. I go back to Nora’s tsc announcement post and I want to cry. You have to live.

TSC has its big breakout moments that tear the heart up, but the little tid bits of awfulness that randomly get dropped and moved on from are equally important into showing how truly awful Evermore was. Jean gets confused by the Trojans being the ones to sign their own waivers, because Raven coaches had done it all for them. And then just moves on from it with no further thought.

Back in high school there was this girl that I didn’t really know personally she was more a friend of a friend but there was this guy who liked her and she did not reciprocate those feelings at all. One day he told her that he loved her hair so much and that it was really beautiful and all that. The next day she came to school she had a pixie cut bc she cut all of her hair off. Anyways I think about that a lot

Haechan is insane to me because you can tell he puts in so much hard work to appear so effortless in everything he does. I usually take rumors with a biggg grain of salt but there was one where a staff or someone who worked with nct said haechan is a lot more serious behind the scenes than the image he usually projects on-camera, and I can totally see it. I don’t mean it in a bad way or that he’s fake or anything, it actually makes me admire him more when I think about it potentially being true. Like the image he projects is very playful and that he kinda goofs off which I’m sure he does to some degree off-camera, but you can not have that high of a performance level if you don’t take your work seriously and strive for perfection. Bro is a powerhouse and I think it’s a mix of genuine talent, a lot of practice, and a high standard of self-expectation.
