While in the locker Taylor triggers with the ability that allows her to reshape and control her body in incredibly absurd ways from turning her hand into a metal scythe and making mini clones of herself (the limitation being that she is restricted to her own biomass and can't use anything beyond that. Think one half of mahito's power from jjk).

In the moment of pure desperation, she turns herself into a puddle and leaks through the locker. On one hand she's out of the traumatizing enclosure (yay) but on the other she is now an out and public cape. This leads to a series of events with the PRT trying to recruit her but with some bad wording from armsmaster and an unfortunate slip that Sophia may be shadow stalker she completely rejects the concept and continues trying to go about her life.

Going about her life is of course bound for failure as one day a couple of weeks later she is attacked by a gang member trying to prove themselves by taking down a cape. Taylor defends herself (Metal scythe hand = Ouchie).

Taylor decides that this is all bull and looks for organizations to join and she soon lands on New Wave, she wouldn't have joined them typically what with the whole 'shown identity for accountability' thing but her cover got shot in the head the second she gained powers so that's very much a non-issue for her. The Interview (and or tryout?) goes surprisingly great since they see her power as useful as well finding her 'bearing' admirable (whatever that means) and she's put onto the team.

Taylor is quick to prove herself an asset to the team, both on the field and off since being able to be punched through the gut and spine in training and in active combat make her a very good bulwark. but for the love of God if Taylor gets viltrumite hand chopped if half by Victoria again, she's going to lose it (and yes, I can make that reference since Invincible came out in 2003).

An interesting thing Taylor learns fairly quickly, along with being incredibly cute, if snappy, is that Amy's power does not work at her at all. Taylor hypothesis that it's her power and Amy's acting as opposing magnets but she's mainly too distracted with watching Amy pout in a way that Makes Taylor's heart feel warm.

Another good thing (Taylor can't believe that more than one good thing has happened recently) is that Carol is a damn good lawyer and is able to get Taylor transferred to Arcadia. (Good riddance Winslow, you where nothing but a gang infested cesspool and home to a traitorous bitch) Taylor would feel more grateful but at the same time Carlor keeps treating Amy poorly so she just gives an appropriately polite thanks.

miscellaneous ideas include:

- Taylor turning into a metal string and getting flechette to use her power on her during leviathan. Taylor would theorize about the weird BS about her and the Manton limit but that gets drowned out by the cheers as Leviathan lays bisected and dead, Flechette and Taylor being lauded as Endslayers.

- Taylor and Amy being weirdly cute as a couple. who knew their weird antisocial selves would cancel each other's angst out? the negative is that Victoria is now subject to the ironic terrors of seeing your sister shove her tongue down someone's throat.
