what happened to you? [open to all]
>SYSTEM REBOOT COMPLETE
With a soft groan, Pink Choco opened her eyes, looking around. She had a few questions that immediately came to mind. Where was she, how long had she been out, and was everything functioning properly? By the looks of things, she was at the end of a dark alley, though she couldn’t quite remember why. Her last memory on record was… more than a week ago? Nobody had come to look for her? She honestly felt a bit offended. Sitting up, she checked herself, making sure that all her limbs worked. Everything seemed in order, besides the fact she had very little battery remaining. She stood up, groaning again. She would have to get home before she ko’d again.
Pink shuffled out of the alleyway, looking worse for wear. Her hair was a mess, her clothes were a bit out of place, and she was stumbling as if she were drunk. She looked quite hung over. She was mostly frustrated by the fact that she couldn’t remember why she was in that damn alley in the first place. She was also frustrated that nobody had come to pick her up. Well, whatever.
She used the wall as support as she trudged down the street, not recognizing the area at all. She hated doing so in this state, but she would have to ask for directions if she wanted to get home quickly. She placed a hand on the shoulder of someone in front of her. “ ‘Scuse me, could you tell m’ how’ta get home?” Her words were slurred and the quality was warped. Who knew a robot could sound drunk?
Pink’s absence was beginning to bother Hero. It had been about a week since she disappeared, and it was starting to become very worrying. He figured she was out doing stuff for Fire Spirit, but she had been gone way too long.
How exactly does one find a robot anyway? Pink didn’t leave any clues hinting to where she disappeared to, and he was pretty sure she didn’t have a tracking chip he could locate. He’d just have to do this on his own.
This was exactly what he was doing as he roamed the streets, the newly redecorated Jellyco Cube at his side. Thanks to his superhero duties he knew these places like the back of his hand. It wouldn’t take long to find her, if she was here?
As he thought about all the places where she might be, he felt a hand on his shoulder and jumped a bit. The Jellyco Cube let out a quick beep in reaction. It wasn’t a “there’s a threat” beep, it was the beep it made when it recognized a friend. That meant it could only be…
He turned around, his eyes lighting up as he recognized Pink. She was alive, thank god! Although, she didn’t seem to be doing too well. It was almost like she was drunk.
“Pink!! Where have you been?! Are you alright?! What happened?!”
Hm? That was a familiar voice… Pink looked at who she was talking to. “Heeroooo?” She squinted at him, frowning. “Where th fuuck have you beeen?” She tried to look at him angrily, but it probably ended up looking stupid. “I'v been out fer a week.” She rubbed her head. “Dunno why…"
She leaned on the smaller man, wrapping her arm around his shoulder. “Wherav’ YOU been?” She slurred, repeating what she had said before. It seemed like she was trying really hard to be high and mighty like she usually was, and failing, quite miserably.
"I figured you were out doing something for Fire Spirit. If I hadn’t thought that I would’ve come looking for you sooner, I swear.” It was a bit hard to support her, due to her being made of metal and all that, but he did his best. The Jellyco Cube hovered in circles around them, ecstatic at seeing Pink.
“It sounds like you’re on low power. We need to get you back to base as soon as possible so you can recharge before you run out completely. Do you think you’ll be able to make it?”
Pink saw the jellyco cube and smiled, petting the little bot. She sighed, too tired to argue with Hero. He was probably more honest than most people, anyways. She could trust the small man.
“Of cours’ I’ll be able to make it.” She said, huffing. A small beeping noise reminded her of her low battery power. “Though, uh, th’ sooner th’ better.” She took a step forward, pulling Hero along. “Which way ta home?”
