I’m on the record here as not finding Law to be particularly charming. I applaud his successful working relationship with Zendaya and…pretty much ignore him the rest of the time. I think he’d like to be the main character of this story and he just isn’t.

This specific season of dressing for BND and The Odyssey has been hit and miss for me personally, but fashion is subjective and I don’t feel any obligation to like or validate the choices Law and Zendaya have made (neither the particular clothing items she’s worn or the source of those clothes.)

Having said that, he didn’t make this move in a vacuum. He and Z have been collaborating for years and I don’t believe for a moment that he made the decision independently to fly the dress in. Would I have made the same choice? No. Will I ever be in that position? Also no. Zendaya is a grown adult and is more than capable of dealing with criticism when it comes. She’ll be fine.
