you can start anytime.
you can brush your teeth in the middle of the day. you can wash the dishes at 2am. you can do things outside the normal times assigned by society.
You can lay on top of the blankets. You can lay under the bed sheets directly on the mattress. You can sit in the shower. You can put your hair up and wash your body, or you can sit on a chair beside and just wash your hair. And for that matter— you can bring a chair into the bathroom. You can go in to wash yourself waist down only and get out right after. You can go to bed in a coat. You can lie on the floor. You can just sweep the floor— no need to mop if you cannot.
You can do things in so many different ways with so many different adjustments; it's worth it to approach any mundane task with an eye of "how do I make this easier on myself? How do I make it bearable?"
Life is already hard. Don't make it harder on yourself with arbitrary, unnecessary rules. Ask yourself— "Can't I just..?" You might be surprised by how much you don't mind the things that usually bring lots of exasperation and mental fatigue if only you decide to give yourself a helping hand
i clean the bathroom in stages. one day ill do the sink. the other, the toilet. ill spray down the shower in the morning and then scrub it in the evening and wash myself right after. you do not have to do it all at once.
but please do not lay directly on the mattress. there may be fiberglass in it.
