the funny thing about the “did dean reciprocate” debate is that up until the confession itself, dean acts much more like the one who is in love. it’s blatant. it borders on embarrassing. he’s clearly very aware of it and trying to show/say it but falling short every time due to internal or external circumstances. “did he reciprocate” ??? and it’s somewhere between eight and eleven years of “i need you” and “im not leaving without you” and “whatever you did i forgive you and we can get through it together” and “i don’t want to live without you, i’d rather be dead ” and “when you’re gone all i do is search for a way to bring you back to me” and “deep down a part of me always knew you would come back because you’re the only thing in the world i have faith in” like be so serious

knowing dean was the best part of cas’ entire life!!!! like that’s fucking eons!!!! that man is old as hell, he’s been around for forever, and the best part of his whole long life was spending it with dean!!!!
