“Don’t forget it’s tonight, Parker”
“Yeah, yeah, i’ll pick you up later babe,” he kissed your forehead quickly and ran off catching up his works — saving the world — that you didn’t know at all. Well, what everyone knew was just his Stark internship.
“What’s for the date tonight, y/n?” Ned asked. Ned’s always been around you when he could, as per Peter’s wish. It was only Ned who knew about him being the Spiderman, so Peter asked Ned to watch on you when he needed to go to be the friendly neighbourhood Spiderman.
“Hmm.. aren’t you supposed to know more than me? He’s planning for tonight, y’know”
Ned was confused, he knew nothing about that, “he is planning for tonight? He never mentioned about that to me”
“Nah- i see, you must stay quiet for him, huh?”
“No-“
“It’s okay, Ned, the date is supposed to be surprise for me anyway”
Ned really had no idea about Peter’s plan, actually. “No way,” he whisper to himself. Yep, no way his best friend wouldn’t tell him. Knowing Peter, he would’ve gone asking recommendations to aunt May and — even if it’s the slightest — he would’ve mentioned about the plan to his best friend, like he always did.
“By the way, are you going straight home, Ned?”
“Yeah, why?”
“Then that means you have no plan, right? Can you pleeeease accompany me to the mall? There is something i have to buy. Pleeeeaassee” asking with the very soft tone and puppy eyes that you believed no one can ever refuse.
“y/n, you know you don’t have to put on that puppy eyes”
“it is called effort, Ned. Like the price i have to pay for you to say yes,” you made the puppy eyes again to him. “I’d say yes even faster without that puppy eyes,” Ned started to tease you again.
“Oh no, don’t start, Ned. So that’s a yes, right?”
“Hmm..”
You started to put on the puppy eyes again and again, “please-“
“Oh stop that puppy eyes. Ok ok i’ll go with you. And the puppy eyes don’t work at me okay, y/n”
“But you said yes”
“Yes because you’re my friend! And you call that eyes are puppy eyes?” Ned laughed looking at your eyes that didn’t even look like puppy eyes, not even close.
“Oh shut it, Ned,” both of you laughed. “Thanks by the way, let’s go now”
Finally you’re out of school, the hectic place. You felt the fresh air, looked at the sky and it was so clear, what a very beautiful weather for a date. You walked with your bicycle on your side and also Ned on your other side.
“What is that thing you wanna buy?” Ned asked.
“Foods.” You answered and laughed. “I don’t like eating alone. No need to worry, I’m buying”
