They were fateful to stay enslaved for the eternity of their immortal lifes. But Solas gave them freedom they couldn’t even dreamed about. He will be always kind of god for them. May be that is why he stayed as a god in elven legends after ages.

Being younger right now really sucks because a lot of the time it feels like your losing your youth and the best years of your life. So it’s nice to think that those best years will happen later. It’s NICE to see people without any close friends finding their found family in their 30s and 40s. It’s NICE to see people become accomplished and discover their talents and passions later in life. It’s NICE to see older characters have just as much development as younger ones.
