You don’t have to like Rhysand and Feyre, but downplaying and denying their trauma just makes you look ridiculous.
●Rhysand was abused and raped by Amarantha for 50 years
●Feyre was severely neglected by her own family.
●Feyre went through absolute hell Under the Mountain while she was still human, and she literally died.
●Tamlin was toxic and abusive—he restricted her freedom, refused to let her train, and literally locked her away.
To deny these facts is utter nonsense. These aren't just plot points; they are their core traumas. No one in this fandom invalidates what Nesta went through—everyone takes her trauma seriously. Yet, the moment anyone else’s trauma is brought up, the narrative suddenly shifts to 'well, it wasn't actually that bad,' 'Feyre is exaggerating,' or 'Rhysand is lying.' The double standard is exhausting.
If Gwyn fans could just set aside their prejudice against Elain, they might actually enjoy Elain's book, because whatever they want Gwyn to have, Elain already has it or will have it
"Gwyn and Rhys will become friends."
"Gwyn will go on a mission with Azriel."
"Gwyn will save the Lady of Autumn."
"Gwyn will be an amazing aunt to Nyx."
"Gwyn will take Nyx from Feyre and raise him herself."
"Gwyn will become a High Lady."
"Gwyn is Eris's granddaughter and also Helion's daughter."
"Azriel, Lucien, Eris, and Helion will compete with each other to get Gwyn's attention."
"Gwyn will heal Azriel."
"Gwyn will become Feyre and Nesta's new and way more beautiful sister."
"Gwyn will become the queen of Prythian."
How? Why?
3 sisters’ peak = Feyre, Nesta & Azriel/Gwyn
Feyre conquered UTM. Nesta conquered Ramiel. Gwynriel will obviously conquer the Prison,
what about Elain? Ofc she, one of the three archeron sisters - the last to have her book, will obviously have nothing to do with the last sister peak also known as the prison. Elain, a character associated with life, hope, spring, new beginnings and regeneration- whose hobby is literally creating and nurturing life from land itself, whilst also being associated with death will have absolutely nothing to do with bringing back a dead, lifeless island back to life and in the state it once was. No, the only people who will bring the Prison back to life are Gwyn and Az with the help of Nesta…who has already previously conquered her own mountain. How will they bring the prison back to life? Gwyn and Azriel will hold hands, staring deeply into each orhers eyes. They’ll begin to sing, a song filled with joy as Gwyn begins to glow, her magic stirring within. As they reach the crescendo- the magic around the prison will begin to shake but do they give up? Not Gwynerth berdara. No. She carries on singing and glowing, eventually the magic around the prison breaks and life blooms onto the dead island once more. The people are freed and brought back to life, they’re so grateful for Gwynnie, they all kneel down but her being the humble queen she is blushes and refuses to accept their offerings. And then Nesta will rule the Dusk Court, Gwyn will be the general of the valkryies - Cass & Azriel will leave behind their home which they’ve protected and where ready to die for - to go and live with their mates. Oh. Can’t forget about the Pegasi they will all have.
And dw about Elain. She will have a plot. Basically, remember how Lucien set his target on the lake all bcs of another woman he’s been living with for most of the year as well as had a spark in his eyes for? Yh Vassa, he’s obviously going to travel to Koshei’s lake and elain will randomly have a vision meaning she will go with him. After being forced to spend time with Lucien, and after seeing how heroically he can catch a fish, she will fall madly in love but ofc Lucien has lots of self respect. After how terribly she treated him, he isn’t going to just accept her like that meaning will have to apologise and grovel for him. Anyways, they slay Koshei eventually and then go to day bcs ofc Lucien has to figure out his parentage. Him and Helion spend time together and Helion either dies or gives up his crown to allow Lucien to become the new HL of Day. Elain obviously is happy and she too will be crowned Hl of day ig, their book ends with Elain cooking Lucien a feast. Alternatively, for some reason Elain and Lucien end up in the spring court and she helps to heal his relationship with Tamlin. And then he dies amd boom. Elucien are now HLs of Spring.
There, I summed up the new two acotar books.
Notice how in Gwynriel’s always make sure Nesta is there helping Gwyn and Azriel? It’s almost like without an Acheron around they won’t able to carry the plot forward?

I hate when people say the only reason h the Rhysand likes elain is because she’s docile and is easy to control. Rhys didn’t like elain in the beginning. He said that he felt like screaming at both Nesta and elain for how they treated Feyre during the years when they were poor. He grew to like her because elain took accountability, apologized to Feyre, and then was kind. Elain was kind to Feyre and the inner circle. She didn’t call Cassian a bastard, insult Mor for the clothes she wore, or threaten to slit Feyre’s throat.
Yeah, I wonder why the ic liked elain and didn’t like Nesta. Maybe the ic didn’t like Nesta not because she’s this powerful girlboss that just couldn’t be manipulated, but because she was lashing out and being verbally abusive to everyone around her. And maybe the ic likes elain not because she’s traditionally feminine, easy to control, and stupid, but because she’s just a kind, good person.
If elain acted like Nesta did, yeah the ic would hate her as well. And if Nesta acted like elain did, the ic would’ve accepted her. It’s almost as if your behavior towards other people actively influences their behavior to you. Who would’ve thought that people would dislike you if you’re rude and mean to them? Who would’ve guessed that if you were kind and respectful to others they would also be kind and respectful to you? What an odd concept!
“Is easy to control” where has he controlled her in the books? Aside from Azriels bonus, its RHYS who says to give Elain time and space so a new side can emerge. HE is the one who acknowledges they are stiffling her.
It will never make sense to me that people genuinely can’t comprehend why the IC treat Nesta and Elain differently. Rhys saw Elain take accountability, admitting they had both failed Feyre. From then on, she’s been helpful to Feyre, kind to her, made her birthday cake special and was there for her throughout the pregnancy. I can’t even think of an instance where she was rude to any IC member, so on what basis would they be catty towards her for? Whereas with Nesta, she initiates fights with Feyre and pokes at everyone.
Elain is good and kind, aside from acotar and tbh only Feyre gets to hold that grudge, why would any character hate Elain? What has she done to them?
Treat others how you want to be treated. First impressions matter. Think before you speak. What happened to all of these basic sayings, its like antis have forgotten them 😭
The beauty of Feyre?
She loves unconditionally. Truly and absolutely unconditionally.
Feyre with Rhys: Loves him with all his past, understands him and makes sure he’s loved when he drops his several masks in front of her.
Feyre with Nesta: Loves her sister, is there for her sister even knowing that her sister apparently despised her. She cares for her well-being, she defends her at every turn.
Feyre with Elain: Makes sure that Elain is happy and has the time and space to do as she loves. She knew that when Elain finally came out of her stupor and finally started being herself (baking cookies with Nuala) she had to give her time. She had to give her sister her own time and made sure that when Elain was finally ready to approach her, she would be welcoming.
Feyre with Cassian: She truly loves and adores him. She opens up to him and he opens up to her. She knows that physical touch is something he loves, so she makes sure she bumps his wing, holds on tight when he gives her bear hugs (and when she gives them back).
Feyre with Mor: loves and encourages Mor to be herself. Even when Mor fights with her mate or sister, she still shows compassion and understanding to Mor.
Feyre with Az: Understands his darkness and quietness, his very worldly thoughts (when he first flew her, when he taught her to fly, when they went to save her sister together). Listens to him, respects him. She understands his humour and shows her concern for him every time he sets out to do something dangerous.
Feyre with Amren: Shows her love for amren the only way she knows Amren will understand and accept it. Respect (and blood of course). She listens to her counsel, respects her opinion and laughs herself hoarse with Amren when they almost drown to their deaths.
Feyre is a BEAUTIFUL, beautiful character. She loves wildly and wholly and she deserves the absolute world (which rhys is obviously set on giving her)
Why is Azriel considered mysterious and interesting, while Elain is found boring, even though she is just as mysterious as he is?
LMAO this is actually so funny 😭
Maybe I'm making fun of them too much, but I just can't help but laugh 🫠
it’s just… so hard to be nice when they say silly stuff like this in public 😭
I'm trying, but... I just can't help myself 😔

Helion being her dad but also fighting for Gwyn's attention...Eris being her grandfather but also fighting for Gwyn's attention... also that would also make Lucien blood related to her. The gingers want to commit incest now, oh gosh. Gwyn's baby about to have 14 toes
So Helion is Lucien‘s father but also Eris son? And Eris is Lucien’s brother??? And everyone fights for Gwyns attention??
Poor Feyre.. she wasn’t that important either

I just can't understand the Feyre, Rhysand, and IC hate anymore, and I'm honestly over it. The moment I see tags like anti feyre or ant rhys, I just block them. On Reddit, the fandom literally hates the main characters but continues to read the books anyway. Fine, if you don't like the characters but want to keep reading the series, go ahead—I have characters I don't like too, but I don't make daily posts about them, comparing them to other characters. Every single character in the ACOTAR series is flawed; they all have moments where they made mistakes or acted terribly.
And honestly, I find it so ridiculous how this fandom treats Tamlin and Nesta as ultimate victims who are always in the right. They aren't the only characters with trauma, and they certainly aren't the only victims in this series.
How do you even know this 😭 Why would they even be? Rhys is going to have a friend/sibling relationship with Elain.
Why would Gwyn even go to the Autumn Court and save the Lady of Autumn? If this plotline is going to happen, Elain will be the one involved, not Gwyn.
I think Gwyn fans forget or straight-up ignore her actual position and why she exists in the story. Plus, the Gwyn her fans talk about and the Gwyn actually in the book are two completely different characters
Of course Rhysand isn't going to treat Elain the way he treated Nesta. Elain was never cruel to Feyre and she was always kind to the people around her. She was the first one to apologize to Feyre.
I don't get it, Nesta was a bad character in the beginning, and I don't understand why people defend her toxic behavior as if she was always in the right. I feel like toxic Nesta stans are not going to like Elain in the upcoming books, and they will hate Rhys and the IC even more. Maybe I'm biased about this, but I constantly see people asking why they don't treat Elain the same way they treat Nesta.
Personally, I think we will see Elain stand up to the IC in her own book just to prove she can do things, because nobody expects anything from her and she wants to actually achieve something, not just tend to the garden. Azriel is acting too protective over her, and this is definitely going to create a conflict between Elain and Azriel.
"I love Rhys, I love Elain, I love Azriel, AND I AM LITERALLY GOING TO DIE FOR THIS TRIO IN ELAIN'S BOOK

I saw way too many Gwynriel theories before reading the bonus chapter last year, and honestly, they are either lying or suffering from collective amnesia about the BC. Azriel gave the necklace to Clotho, NOT Gwyn. We don’t even know if Gwyn ever received it because it’s never been mentioned since, and we've never seen her wear it.Maybe Clotho hid the necklace, and we’ll see it in the next books. Yet Gwynriels talk about it like it’s an absolute fact.
So many active Turkish elriels here 🤭🤭
