YOU weren't sure how it happened. One moment you were enjoying a quiet moment in your dorm, the next your friends were dragging you to the Gryffindor common room for a party. You weren't surprised it was the Weasley twins doing. They were known for their pranks and successful parties after all.

Now here you were, standing near a table full of booze while watching your friends dance drunkenly with a few Hufflepuff boys.

"Y/n! Glad you came."

"That we are Georgie."

Suddenly a Weasley twin stood on each side of you. Their matching grins sent alarm bells ringing.

"Say Fred it seems Y/n here might be thirsty."

"That she does Georgie. Quick she needs hydration!"

You rolled your eyes, lips quirking up. "You're both trouble." Though you took the offered cup, gulping the blue liquid down. Despite the slight burn, it tasted deliciously fruity.

Fred slung an arm around your shoulders. His grin growing in madness. "Aw little Y/n you'll need the liquid courage anyways. Speaking of courage-"

Before you could even process what was happening Fred shoved you. You yelped, stumbling into a solid figure. It was embarrassing how quick you recognized the familiar body. You glanced up, face warming at seeing Ron. You shot a glare towards Fred. You'd get him back later.

"You alright Y/n?"

You swallowed, gaze landing on Ron again. Despite the rosy tent to his cheeks his concern was clear. You nodded quickly, vision swimming in your buzzed state. You didn't drink often, so it was hitting quicker than you liked. "Yeah, sorry."

His smile had you nearly melting. It was no surprise how much you liked the Gryffindor boy. At this point nearly everyone knew, except for the clueless boy in front of you. "No worries," he assured.

You glanced around. Suddenly the room felt a little smaller and too crowded. You shifted, quickly finishing off your cup. "Think I'm going to take a walk. It's getting too hot." You quickly stepped away, heading for the exit. Ron followed after. He couldn't leave you alone in this state even if he himself wasn't sober.

And that's how you found yourself exploring the empty Hogwarts halls. Ron stood at your side, arm occasionally brushing yours. Both of you were teethering past tipsy, mellowed out and no longer caring as much. Your eyes trailed over the walls of paintings. Some look amused while others muttered in disdain about your current state. Though you couldn't bring yourself to worry. You felt good. But not all good things lasted.

Down the hall you could hear the approaching meows of Filch's cat, Mrs Norris. You shared a terrified look with Ron. "What do we do!?" You panicked.

Ron jerked his head around looking for an answer. Then he saw it. He grabbed your hand, yanking you along into an empty classroom. He pulled you further inside to the back of the room. You both crouched low behind a desk. You could hear the footsteps grow closer before stopping at the door. You swallowed hard. You felt like you were in one of those horror movies Hermione had shown you.

Ron bumped against you. He motioned towards the closet at the back corner. Together you both moved quietly as possible then shuffled into the small closet. Ron mumbled a disguising spell. You tensed hearing the classroom door finally opening. Ron squeezed your hand. You hadn't even noticed you were still holding his hand. Your face warmed.

He shushed you, pressing his hand over your mouth. "Quiet." He hissed. You rolled your eyes but listened. Quietly you both listened, waiting for the footsteps to leave.

With nothing but silence around you, you began to sober enough to realize the situation you were in. You and Ron were pressed against each other, his breath fanning against your cheek. You swallowed, suddenly overcomed with nervousness. "Ron-"

The minutes ticked by slowly. It couldn't have been too long, but finally you heard Filch leave. You tried shifting your weight to your other leg as it begun to cramp but it just caused you to press closer to the Gryffindor boy. A sharp inhale had you stilling. "Ron?"

"Stop moving Y/n!" He whispered harshly. He sounded off, his words coming out in a low pant. Heat raced up your neck and across your face. You couldn't stop yourself from shifting again. It had to be your imagination, right?

The air was punched from his lips in a gasp. He gripped your hand tightly, his whole body shifting closer to you. You bit your lip, mind racing. Things were escalating quickly. Your eyes met his. Neither of you could look away. Neither of you could stop. You weren't sure who made the first move. All you remember was Ron's lips pressed against yours. His hands rested on your hips. His thumbs trailed beneath your shirt to stroke lightly over your skin. His fingers were warm, leaving a trail of heat wherever they touched. He pressed you back against the wall. His touch remained gentle yet the growing need was obvious.

Soon his finger were pressing more firmly against the skin of your hips. The tips of his nails pressed just enough to leave small crescent marks. You found yourself wanting more. His lips trailed from yours, across your jaw, and down to kiss every inch of exposed skin on your neck.

You gasped as each kiss turned into small nips and whines. You twisted your fingers into his shirt giving a tug. Your fingers slipped beneath the old fabric. A stuttered breath leaving your lips at the feel of warm muscle. Before you could even utter a word you heard a loud distant bang followed by the yelling of Filch. You and Ron jerked away from one another like you been burned.

You swallowed harshly, avoiding eye contact. Heat rushed to both of your faces, leaving your face burning. "We probably should.." He trailed off awkwardly, looking everywhere but you.

You nodded quickly. "Uh, yeah. Let's go before Filch finds us."

Ron walked at your side, his hand occasionally brushing yours. Neither of you said anything, still feeling embarrassed. Once you reached the entrance to your house you both stopped. You turned to face him. You tugged your lip between your teeth as you tried to find the words to say.

"I don't regret it," he blurted. His ears turned scarlet.

You laughed softly, your anxiousness melting away. "I don't either," you stepped forward kissing his cheek. "See you tomorrow?" The Gryffindor nodded eagerly, lips forming a grin. "Goodnight Ron."

SNOWFLAKES fell in fast flurries all around you. You clutched your coat tighter around yourself, yet you still shivered. You quickened your pace, the snow squishing beneath your boots.

"Y/n! Wait up love."

A body crashed into yours nearly sending you both to the ground. You turned, glaring at the Weasley boy. "Frederick!"

Fred clicked his tongue as he slung his arm around you. "Now, now lovely not so stingy." He tugged you closer to himself. "How was your day?"

You huffed but made no move to pull away. "Bloody fantastic."

His lips tugged into a grin. "You're so cute when annoyed."

Your eyes rolled, feigning irritation despite the warming you felt in your face. "Shut up Freddie." You found yourself leaning into him, his warmth surrounding you. "I seen your latest prank. Quite the skill you have."

Fred puffed up, lips curling into a smirk as he basked in the praise. "We did do well. Might be our best this year!"

You laughed, "Eh, close. The one from end of last term was by far the best."

He raised a brow, leaning his face down close to yours. "Oh? That a challenge love, because it sounds like one!"

You shrugged, smiling innocently. "Of course not. Though I think hypothetically you could do so much better."

His eyes widened in glee. He swooped down, kissing you hard. "I love when you're mischievous! Challenge accepted!"

You laughed again. "Good luck."

His hand slipped down, fingers entwining with yours. "Oh I need no luck. I already have ideas." His eyes shined with mischief.

You felt a flutter rise within you. You wondered if you'd regret your words later. But you didn't think on it long. Fred's charming smile was always a successful distraction.

You swiped the snow from your coat with a simple spell and a flick of your wand. "Your plans will have to wait Freddie. We have studying to finish."

He groaned, slumping into you. You grumbled at the added weight. "But Y/n! It's Friday. Class is done for now. It can wait." He took your arm in his. "I say we go to the kitchens for an early snack before dinner." He flashed a smile.

You cursed silently. After all these years you still went weak in the knees from a simple look. "Fine," you relented.

He cheered. His fingers wrapped around yours again as he tugged you along. "Let's go!"
