This cartoon is talking about women in rich, first world countries. All women, even upper-middle class white women, are put at a disadvantage to men in the corporate sphere by not only having to do their jobs well, but also having to perform a “second shift” of housework and child-rearing. So corporate capitalism which professes to be a meritocracy functionally isn’t because women are constantly battling obstacles that don’t exist for men. Even rich women. Even white women.

I’m genuinely bewildered at the number of people on here that have paid zero attention to the older women in their lives. Like, have you ever looked at your mother’s life or is she just an npc to you?
