Hi there!! I'm Luna, genderfluid transfem currently mantling the godhead. Now accepting worship and psychic linkage from any believing themself capable. Mostly a raven with a little bit of cat and/or girl. I accept any pronouns but really prefer neos. I do randomly make art, music, and various forms of writing, but lately its mostly dedicated to game design or smut.
My path to transcending mostly involves trying to appreciate every single kink until I become truly inhuman. Please do everything in your power to deify me. I don't just allow, but encourage sending me asks or DMs about weird kinks I'm not into. I'm technically a switch, but you'd have to be stupid to try to dom me. Also I'm a committed collector of puppygirls and catgirls.
You can also call me Guadalupe, Carey, or Badhbh + the three others that you get to know if you're cool enough. If you want an easy way to get to know me just tell me about your favorite pbta game 💙🩷🖤

in my little pony universe youd go to a job interview and theyd be like so how does your cutiemark reflect your dedication to this position. And every time youd have to spew some bullshit about how your cutiemark of two tennis rackets actually means youre a team player and good at multitasking and view the market like a playing field. or whatever. and you wouldnt even get the job
Thanks to Equestria v Sugar Sprinkle, cutie mark interview questions are considered hiring discrimination, so if anypony asks you any cutiemark related questions or even alludes to any questions about your cutiemark such as "In your own words, describe your life purpose" you can and should refuse to answer. Know your rights, ponies.
An essay born from conversations with my wife about Revolutionary Girl Utena, selected works of Gabor Maté & Pete Walker, the Gender Ternary, and some modern interpretations of Jungian psychology.
There are only two categories of concepts: that which is natural and that which is socially constructed. Some fields of psychiatry would have you believe that what makes up a person is natural. That their personality, who they are and what they struggle with, all come from physical attributes of their body and mind. Oxytocin, serotonin, dopamine, cortisol, and really anything that can be correlated with behavior gets tied into the pathologized psychiatric model of behavior. These are not causes for actions, but the misaligned cogs in the metaphorical machine of our body. But this is no way to measure who we are, as our bodies have long been proven to be shaped by our environment. Our identities are not innate, and everything we are is something we are made to be.
Human nature certainly exists in one way; all human beings have minds structured for survival. Like any animal our nervous system is intended to provide instinctual ability to navigate the world: eating, drinking, resting, and defending ourselves appropriately. As social creatures with the longest period of childhood where we are reliant on others, a part of our survival is also dependent on our ability to navigate and maintain a social structure. This is why despite being born nearly identical, from the minute we are born we are learning and adapting to our place within the family and society.
It is not a stretch to say that the development of our social structures far outpaced evolutionary development. The process of learning one’s place in society may have been simple when that society was made up of less than a thousand people, but differentiating oneself is no simple task in a world of billions. The roles people must take in this world are far more complex and varied than anything the innate structure of a brain can account for. As new roles for society are constantly constructed, so to are the people who must fill them. It is by no surprise that as a society we have done much to simplify them.
All roles we take on are socially constructed: girl, parent, employee, manager, wife, citizen. It is well understood historically that these roles are not fixed culturally or temporally; the expectations and allowances of each role change with time and place. While we are naturally social creatures, our social structures are unsurprisingly socially constructed and thus socially reproduced. The defining feature of any social structure is the hierarchy of power. The family, workplaces, governments, clubs, they all have those with power and those without. It is undeniable that a majority of people conform when confronted with that power, especially when we are younger and at our most reliant on others.
Within the family, children are reliant on society to provide for them and thus need to accept whatever is imposed upon them if that care is threatened by the social structure. This is the only natural inclination we have in our social behavior: an instinct for our survival through social survival. If a baby can't convince someone to feed them, they die. This instinct acts almost directly opposite of our development as an individual. Rather than becoming someone who has boundaries, likes, dislikes, and a unique perspective on life, we must obey or else. At age 3 that ‘or else’ has to be taken seriously since any risk of losing your caretaker is life or death. If our own feelings must be ignored to survive, we never develop a sense for our emotions at all.
While reactions to this emptiness are varied, the most common fall easily along the lines of power. Those who find power continue to reproduce the complex structures that grant that power, while those without fulfill the role that their survival demands. This fundamentally pushes people into two roles. The first being that of power. Depending on your culture and point of view, you may call them the man, the authority, the predator, the narcissist, the abuser, the dominant, the ‘emotional vampire.’ The caricature of a bully who has not developed feelings and attempts to use others they can control to fill this emptiness. They can't admit their own emptiness even to themselves, as that could be used against them to weaken their hold on power. If someone cannot develop internally, then they must prove their worth externally. They often don’t do it consciously, as they just take whatever they can get and use manipulation and their position of power to find ways around being told no.
That person who learns to obey then being often called the woman, the victim, the traumatized, the ‘empath’, the vessel, the submissive. This is someone who has covered up any trace of their own feelings in order to maintain their safety and keep the peace. Slowly learning to watch the world around them to preemptively appease threats to their safety and keep what little they have. They wouldn’t even realize they were empty, as such questions prove to only cause more trouble in their uncertain lives. It is far safer for them to remain ignorant for their safety, just like in childhood. It can seem fine on the outside, as they seem smart, clever, observant, detail-oriented, and polite. It becomes incredibly important and convenient for everyone around them that they remain useful, but more so obedient.
The obvious question being what about people who are empowered and disempowered in different environments or times. Take for example a school bully, a middle manager, an abusive mother, or a violent husband who at work is simply an employee. In all these examples they are someone who has power over others, while still not being on top of the hierarchy or having absolute control. Their actions still follow the same playbook, seize power and exercise it over others for emotional fulfillment. Even if at the end of the day they have to contend with their own patriarch, that disempowerment only serves to deepen their need for control over their attachments. Perhaps instead consider when that ‘clever’ powerless person finally gets their day. They get promoted, married, have kids, or otherwise get control over what they have. Unless they have already contended with that emptiness, in an act of perceived necessity they will pick up the playbook of power; a continued act of compliance as they believe their attachments will be taken from them if they do not fulfill their role.
Neither side of this exchange can be happy, neither will be fulfilled, but neither can innately escape these habits for there is nothing else that they know. Even when they do receive kindness or safety it is seen as either something deceitful or something that is undeserved. Those of us with control will never relinquish it in fear of losing our only source of satisfaction, while those without control will remain compliant so long as they believe that the power held over them is natural and dictates their survival. The thing about power is that it too is socially constructed. The roles which empower and disempower us only dictate survival if society continues to allow them to do so. This is why the controller will attempt to isolate and manipulate those they can get their hooks into by imposing a fictitious role on them. By convincing someone else they can’t get what they want elsewhere, they don’t even need to have power; to the powerless who only want acceptance at any cost, the aesthetic of kindness will look like a blessing so long as they are kept from the genuine kindness of others.
The first step in escaping this dynamic is clearly to recognize it and all that it entails for what it is: a game. For most of us we can’t just stop playing yet, as there are dozens of structures which thrive off of our compliance. Knowing the rules really only serves in creating better strategies, methods for getting ‘what you want.’ Though as was established, the emptiness does not know what it wants, only what it needs. It would be easy for someone to get stuck here, knowing the game and only using its rules to meet their needs hoping that will satisfy the emptiness. That emptiness isn’t an unmet need, but an unmet self.
Only when our needs are met irrespective of our role and how well we play it can we develop our internal feelings and ultimately individuate ourselves. As surprising as it can be, there are plenty of people who always had this and have always been able to be themselves, usually only because someone with power over them decided to wield it responsibly (or so irresponsibly that there is no way to ignore the lie). No matter who you are, you will be able to cultivate your internal world if your social safety is unconditional. It sounds simple when put this way, but none of us can simply liberate ourselves from our past simply by learning the truth. We've likely had 18 or more years learning and practicing these horrible roles.
Everyone is always trying to individuate, as it is necessary for emotional health, but once survival dictates our roles for us our development will mainly take the form of more complex survival mechanisms. There are hundreds of trauma responses we inevitably take on in response to threats to our survival, but only one self that we can cultivate. By the time we turn 18 nearly everyone has been embedded at the bottom of a social structure for years, likely growing a variety of trauma responses to the dangers of their family structure. Even if that unconditional security were acquired later, our internal world would be incomparable to the personality we had crafted to protect ourselves through childhood. Even understanding our trauma, we have no chance of learning to be an autonomous agents while struggling against behaviors which only serve to protect us from society rather than integrate with it.
This is a terrible form of exclusion; one where the person inside is gone, but their body continues to serve power. It is unsurprising that despite how despicable this process may sound that this pattern is able to be reproduced over and over again. Those who are made victim may never even know that which was taken from them or by whom, which is the intent of those who manipulate them for power. It is as if they simply never existed. So long as there is a power to abuse, there will be more empty individuals eager to either get ahold of the reins or escape their wrath. The more powers that influence us, the less self determination we are afforded as the demands of holding or serving that power mold us more and more.
The cure is the same either way. Truth and Love. No matter how suppressed, our gut feelings cannot lie. It will be confusing sorting out where feelings originate, whether they reflect an internal view or an external one. An easy example of this is the realization that we forgive or shame others for things we would not forgive or shame ourselves. It is seeking this truth that allows us to remove the influence of that power over us. If we can learn to hear our internal self instead of our anxieties, then we have already won the first battle. Even when power demands us to act in its accordance, we need not let it dictate our thoughts. It is only from this position that we can dismantle power, choosing when to disobey and to what end. If we are lucky, we can simply walk away from the fictitious power that guarantees us nothing.
We must continue to ask ourselves: “Am I surviving or am I growing?” We cannot control when or how we learn to be ourselves, but we must choose to begin no matter how difficult and uncomfortable. You probably won’t like what you find, and it won’t be earning you any popularity contests to follow your heart. Your comfort is a lie, it is safety from false judgment, not a closeness to your true self. That fear and discomfort is what has motivated you to conform, but there is another choice. Why should you fear losing something you never asked for in the first place? Why should you fear losing conditional love for unconditional love?

its important and revolutionary that you use the terminology for sexuality and gender that are older and worse. the more old it is the more Real queer elder traditional it is
I never really wanted to get into this on here but I want to talk about it now so nobody can stop me.
honestly one of the worst things is that I knew. a lot of people talk about not knowing they were trans until xyz event where they realized and went through whatever hardships and then transitioned. people talk about repression and discovery and all these things. and those are all powerful and important experiences I don't see myself as above them in any way. but I knew.
I was never an egg, I was never in denial. when I was 3 years old I dreamed I was a princess. I know this because my family retells it as a funny story. I tried to wear my sister's clothes regularly, I asked people why there wasn't a word for the reverse of a tomboy, I put on makeup, I used she/her pronouns online since I first learned to read and write.
I don't bring this up to do this "I've always been a woman deep down, so you should listen to me as super valid Mr psychologist gatekeeper". my point is that it didn't matter.
I knew, and it didn't matter. it wasn't an issue of having to figure out who I was and then realizing that. it's that who I am was intentionally killed and locked away at every turn. it's not that I didn't realize I was a girl, it's that I wasn't allowed to be one. I was hurt and punished and sent to conversion therapy repeatedly. I can't "go back in time and tell my younger self to save her years of struggle". it wouldn't matter. it wouldn't change anything at all. the issue wasn't a lack of information. it's a lack of power. kids and trans kids especially are subject to so much abuse and we have no power to do anything about it. it is such a great tragedy beyond words. knowing what you want to do and wear and say and be, that you want this name and these pronouns and that cute dress, and being powerless to do anything about it anyway. forced to wear clothes picked out for you by a guardian, only able to use pre-approved nicknames online. only allowed to engage in these specific hobbies and have these specific friends. all of whom treat you like garbage. but it doesn't matter. it doesn't even matter if you know it's unjust, there's no way to do anything about it. it is perhaps the most powerless position anyone can be in. there is no level of knowledge or personal strength that will get you out of it. you just have to shut off until enough time passes for the law to deem you as worthy of being a person.
I think that's a big part of why I'm like this now, once you see that powerlessness, when you experience the depths of hopelessness and disenfranchisement, you can never unsee it. it does something to you
it's easier to think that I did something wrong. that if I were smarter or stronger or cleverer I could've figured it out. and that when I did get out of that place, that it was due to my strength. but the reality is it wasn't. none of it was my fault, and that's almost harder to handle. there's no amount of trial or belief or hope or self knowledge that can magically warp the world to be kind to you. when I got away it's because I was a legal adult. that's it, that's all that changed. the only thing holding me back that entire time
I’ve noticed this trend on tumblr where people seem to think that transmedicalism is just some generic term that means medical transition is the ‘best’ form of transition. When in fact, transmedicalism is an entire ‘theory’ of transsexuality - one that frames transsexualism as a sexual disorder, ‘curable’ only through medical and psychiatric intervention by experts who ‘know better.’ It comes out of a cissexist ideology that preserves the sanctity of cissexualism by relegating transsexuality to the realm of disease and perversion. It positions transsexuality as an aberration, something to be cured, an exception that proves the rule of nature.
The former definition is de-politicised and ahistorical, and I think when you adopt that former definition, you quickly run into conclusions about how asserting the importance of medical transition is itself normative - that to resist transmedicalism means to instead privilege a generalised fluid ‘queerness’ that eschews more durable and lasting forms of transition (HRT, surgery, name/gender marker changes) in favour of something that is more ‘radical’ than transsexuality. Because after all, isn’t the goal of medical transition to just look like a cis person? You see this line of thinking in the invocation of the “binary trans person” - an assimilationist transgender subject. The act of remaking one’s entire body and administrative relationship to the state is positioned as normative in comparison to the act of ‘individual’ (ie, non-state, non-administrative, non-medical) self-identification and expression.
This is a massive betrayal of our trans siblings, of course, not least of all because it deliberately ignores the coordinated efforts of all levels of state governments, the media, medical and psychiatric institutions, religious organisations, and civil society broadly to eliminate trans people from the world. A trans person who is denied HRT and gender marker changes is not more radical for being forced into that position, nor is the assertion that they should have access to those things somehow cisnormative. If it was so normative, they’d give us those things in a heartbeat! Shouldn’t it preserve the cissexual order by giving HRT to minors so they don’t have to go through the wrong puberty and look as much like cis people as possible? But somehow our enemies have come to the opposite conclusion - that we are freaks, degenerates, perverts and predators who want to mutilate ourselves and every child on planet earth. To change one’s sex is to thwart the will of god and destroy meaning itself.
I think this mode of thinking valorises transgender suffering as noble and radical, that being closeted, being denied care, or having to hide one’s transness in the many spheres of our lives (such as work, family, social activities, dating, etc) is itself a radical act. And I think it sucks real bad! It patronises our trans siblings who suffer under oppressive restrictions/bans by telling them they’re radical for not transitioning ‘the normative way,’ and it condescends to our trans siblings who assert their humanity through hormones, surgery, and name and sex marker changes by telling them they’re just trying to emulate cis people.
And if I can be particularly confrontational for a moment, I think some queer people believe trans people are monsters for doing this to ourselves, that we really are mutilating our bodies to “look like” cis people, that the act of bodily and administrative transformation is gross and weird. To access state or private health care (or worse, to use DIY hormones), to change our administrative being, is inherently assimilationist. Exercising a form of sovereignty by (to paraphrase Stryker & Sullivan) petitioning the king to correct the record is just bowing to the king himself.
Which to me speaks to a deeply nihilistic worldview where we’ve somehow reached the end of history with the human body. Remaking oneself in one’s own image is just rearranging the pieces on the board, a shuffling of what’s already there. Frankenstein’s monster isn’t so special after all - just a freak built out of pre-fabricated limbs, exactly equal to the sum of its parts. The act of bodily and administrative remaking is just emulation, not autonomy, not liberty, and certainly not creation. But the queer? The queer makes do with what they were given and finds ways to subvert cis-heterosexuality by the radical act of refusing to alter oneself and instead ‘queering’ the body they were ‘born with.’ This is in fact a much nobler, more radical, more revolutionary act - the act of moving forward by standing still. I see the claim that our transsexualism is normative and counter with the exact same claim about our queer cousins. I wonder if they’ll give us the benefit of the doubt when hearing their own words repeated back to them
My stupid poser kidnapper wants to show me my missing person's poster but I don't think they do those any more and I kept saying this but they wouldn't listen until they wordlessly handed me a printout of a bbc article talking about it. They want to compose a ransom note with newspaper type but don't know how to buy newspapers as someone under 60 without looking suspicious. The other day I saw in the fridge a carton of oat milk with a home-printed photo of me obviously taken by them awkwardly glued to the side. I don't even get a basement. This is a one-bedroom flat.

like. this is so bad it had me stunlocked at the start. i didn't even know what to be upset at
1. this is not from a porn site or anything. this was platformed on youtube by someone who seemingly "tries to keep the community as SFW as possible". no one will be surprised by this because the femboy self-sexualisation is so commonplace its absence is more surprising than its presence at this point
2. "princess boy" feels like a direct parallel to "lady boy". i don't need to explain why this is insanely transmisogynistic
3. the fish guy immediatly switching from "this is pretty wife" to "this is sex toy tranny" upon learning that the person isn't "an actual woman" reveals how absolutely normalized it is to view transfems as sex objects to be freely abused, always treated worse than both cis men and cis women would be
4. the femboy character's response to being promised continuous sexual violence by a group being "cool thanks" reflects how the femboy community will do one of 3 things when confronted with the real violence transfems face : completely gloss over it, turn it into a joke, or say "that's hot" and turn it into more fuel for the degradation of transfemininity through sexualisation. this somehow manages to be a bit of all 3. mainly the third though
5. it's the "trap" trope all over again. "i look like a woman but i'm actually a dude! i'm being deceitful i could never actually be a girl!" transfemininity once again treated as a costume that makes you incredibly desireable. but only as a sex object, not as a person or equal. and only if it's a costume, if you're actually transfem you're lower than dirt. hot and fuckable and lower than dirt
i don't know how anybody involved in the process thought it was a good idea. it just. feels bad all around. like it was fabricated specifically to make me lose my marbles. and i probably missed a lot this is just off the top of my head at 2 in the morning with the entry-level transfeminism i absorbed through osmosis by listening to so many smart transfems on this site
