Original skinhead culture: Originated in the 60s. British working-class youth + Mod culture + Jamaican rude-boy culture + ska/reggae + football/workwear. Later stereotype: Skinhead aesthetic + far-right/neo-Nazi politics I've been saying for years that cosplaying a lifestyle just for the aesthetic is detrimental to every single subculture there is. At some point in history, kids stopped caring about the politics & what's wrong and right and stopped listening to the music, but most importantly, they stopped comprehending the music's message. That's how we got here, and I hate it.
