Why not hoist the flag and wreak havoc?

Three that sort of coincide with each other are Majora's Mask, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Soul Eater. They are a big part of how I formed my personality when I was younger and bleeding into how I still am to this day in terms of my interests (i.e. I still intend to become a mortician at some point, like when I feel I have to funds to go back to school)

Majora's Mask is the one that first popped into my mind. I think there's a lot about it that vibes with me in terms of atmosphere and storytelling.

Not only is it very much my type of game in terms of the melancholic/ spooky vibes, but it is also a well of creativity to me. In any game where you can build or decorate I end up using Majora's Mask as inspiration. I love re-creating areas from MM (I've done so in Animal Crossing many times, and my town tune is The Song of Healing)

Speaking of - the soundtrack is also one of my absolute favorites. Again, the creepy/ sorrowful music is just peak to me.

Nightmare Before Christmas was one of those movies I watched over and over and over again as a young child, so.. yeah lol

I'd watched plenty of anime growing up - like, since I was real little, but I feel like when my older brother showed us Soul Eater that's when I feel like I really kinda got back into anime in a significant way, or maybe just started branching out and watching shows on my own??? It was kinda like, he showed it to me and TJ independently from whatever we'd watch with our dad and it gripped me (I mean, the aesthetic and content alone was enough to grip little wannabe goth me), but then I was like "What else is out there? What can I discover on my own?"

Three Minutes Clapping - Neo Twewy OST

"Hey guyyyyyyyyyysss~!" I love a lot of the songs in Neo Twewy, but I chose this one because it was one of the first ones I learned the name of (Calling was the first and Transformation was second). I almost chose Transformation, but the allure of "HEY GUYYYYYYSSS~" was too strong lmao

2. Die Young - Ke$ha

"Don't care who's watchin' when we tearin' it up!" I'm an absolute sucker for pop. It's about the vibes. It's about being able to scream-sing the lyrics and just have a blast. God I love this song (I know it's over a decade old... I only started listening to it recently... lol)

3. If It's True - Hadestown

"Because the ones who tell the lies are the solemnest to swear, and the ones who load the dice always say the toss is fair....." This is probably my most played Hadestown song. It not only inspires me in certain creative exploits, but honestly the lyrics are just kinda like... yeah

4. To Zanarkand - Nobuo Uematsu; FFX OST

I kinda wanted to use Besaid Island again, but I used that in an ask game not too long ago, so I chose To Zanarkand from FFX. This game shot to my number 1 favorite FF game after... lowkey? Like, a single streaming session with my older brother. FFX quickly became so dear to me, so I needed to rep it in the ask quiz, and this is a nice piano piece that I always kind of wanted to try to learn but never will

5. Fight Together - Namie Amuro; One Piece OP 14

My heart...... I love a lot of One Piece openings, but nothing will ever top Fight Together for me. That synthy electro pop? The nostalgic feeling in the sound of the song alone? (The fact that it played for arguably my favorite arc in One Piece)... "Please don't forget, we fight together"
