Why not hoist the flag and wreak havoc?

Gonna need more than just a “Hey, is this Kat?” For me to respond… like…. If you’re a real person who knows me, maybe start by introducing yourself and how I might know you first.

First Scramble Slam

I will admit, I did not get 60,000 points on my first go 'round. I got 50,000; however, I feel like if I'd chained my battles better and stayed on Hard Mode the entire time I could have reached the goal. However, since I didn't do that, I'll share my experience of reaching the goal my second time.

Scramble Slam Basics

In order to maximize your chance of getting the points you need to reach the pin goals, here are a few basic game rules I played under.

Always stick on Hard Mode (if you haven't already, you can unlock that from Minamimoto's Social Network)- It makes it much easier to chain more Beat Drops and raise your point multiplier since the Noise now have more HP which means you can hit them more

Put your Pin Drop Rate back to base. Since your main focus for the Scramble Slam is Scramble Points, there's really no reason to have your Pin Drop Rate up. Maxing out your HP as much as you can will help you with some of those heavier hitters

Always Chain your battles to the max. By week 2 there should have been an opportunity to do a side-quest that will chain your Social Network to the ConyxCony girl who gives you the ability to chain 10 Noise together. Once you have that, always make sure you chain 9 normal Noise and either the Scramble Noise or the Competitor standing out on the field. You can get lax with always chaining 10 battles after you've hit the threshold

Have Rindo and Fret (or whoever you have on x and y) on normal pins. When you hit 100% Groove, if you use the normal pin for the ultimate attack it'll send out those little white sparks that make it easy to chain the needed amount of Beat Drops to reach the x5.0 point multiplier

Kill the Bonus Noise last - this may not always be possible, but do your best to kill it once you've hit that x5.0 point multiplier at least

Scramble Slam Build

Here are the pins I had equipped to everyone. Note: Nagi and Beat's pins are technically stronger than Rindo and Fret's, but in general it seems the L and R pins don't tend to do as much damage anyway, so it's fine to have these higher level pins on them

Rindo: Pin- Sayosamonji (Jupiter of the Monkey) - evolved from Onimaru which you should get as a reward from Week 1 Day 4 just through story progress. You could also buy it in Takeshita Street at Brave and Ambitious

Fret: Pin- Nighty-Night Beam (Natural Puppy) - evolved from Sugar Beam which is a W1D2 story progression pin

Nagi: Pin- Bérangère Lapin (conyxcony) - dropped by Bebop Shark on easy

Beat: Pin- Pink Matador (Joli Bécot) - dropped by Purehearts on Normal or Psyched Pureheart on Easy

The lower level pins for Rindo and Fret make it so you can hit the Noise more times, so you get more chances for Beat Drops to get your multiplier to the max. I like the Sayosamonji because it has the uppercut attack as the final hit, which I find is easier to chain a Beat Drop with over, say, a spin attack finishing move. I had Nagi use that conyxcony pin because it's a light type with HP vampire, so it'll recover health when it hits enemies. Beat was lower level than everyone else, so I just wanted to give him something that would do more damage because those L and R pins don't do that much damage in the first place. If you don't have Pink Matador, I do suggest one of the L pins that drop objects from above - I just find they're easier to chain Beat Drops with.

Here are the accessories I used for everyone

Rindo: Pink Press-On Nails (Joli Bécot 104 Social Network reward) - increases attack power

Fret: Turquoise Necklace (garagara) - Health regen when Noise is erased

Nagi: Karma Shoulder Bag (Jupiter of the Monkey) - occasional health regen

Beat: Mask (Monocrow) - occasional health regen (lower amount of style required to use the ability on this than other health regen accessories)

Last Notes:

I ate food religiously, so I think Rindo, Fret, and Nagi had close to max HP and Style at this point. I would have equipped another Karma Shoulder Bag to Beat if I could have, but he simply didn't have enough style at the time, but the mask worked perfectly well

As I stated before, the way I play the game is not going to be the same as the average player. Each time I encountered a new Noise I would check the Noisepedia in order to make sure I had every type of pin I was able to collect from them on Easy, Medium and Hard (I haven't gone back to fight everyone on Easy, Normal and Hard when it comes to people or Boss Noise) But once I collected/ bought each new available pin, I went out and mastered said pins. Which means, by the time I made it to the Second Scramble Slam, I was already at level 60 just because of the way I'd go out and master each new pin as I collected/ bought them

Being level 60 helped just because I had That Much extra HP, but also, you could probably be a more reasonable level and get through just fine lol
