UMM ANYWAY, CONTEXT, i was like, thinking about something and like. Why Alastor was so sure that Vox wouldn't go overboard with him, having Alastor in his hands after 70 years of obsession? And then it hit me. Because he knows it. Because that happened at some point in the past. Vox had Alastor under his control, could do whatever he pleased... and yet, didn't cross the line. Of course, it left him hurt and traumatized, but it didn't break him. He managed to heal enough to face Vox again and keep his cools. But still, Alastor has this part of him, hurting from that and being scared that this would repeat. And he had to reassure this part that he would be fine...

Whispering in his ear and masquerading as his conscience, guiding him more and more to the path of villainy because Flug is his soulmate and he’ll be damned if his soulmate is a hero.

Or would that be better?

Flug actually becoming a top hero and black hat slowly corrupting and seducing his soulmate till Flug can’t bear to be apart from him.

Till finally he denounces heroism and joins black hat as his right hand

I just know he’d be constantly going out if his way to rub it in peace’s face that he poached their top scientist

Someone tries to finally call BH out, get Flug on their side. That his path wasn't his decision. BH splits that chesire grin and...

Black Hat met this kid, saw him for like 2 minutes and *knew*. Saw him taking in the world around him, his unrestrained curiosity, his view of the fact of things. And knew how things would turn out in the world he lived in.

BH wasn't even behind the abduction to BH academy directly, the staff there did that by their own standard procedure.

Ultimately, *they* made him what he is. His family, his home, the heroes, the society. And BH could even see how it was going go for Flug as a villain, and when he could step in to get him under his thumb.
