What you can expect:
- General Whump: prompts, drabbles, memes and meta commentary. Any images of actual people (i.e. not actors) - whether the whump depicted is makeup or not - will be tagged “irl whump”.
- NSFW content: some whump, some sexual content. I will use the tag “nsfw” for all sexual content. I also try to tag suggestive content that could be potentially triggering as “just to be safe”. (Generally suggestive but consensual content may not always be tagged that way.)
- The Interplay of Sex & Violence as a strong recurring theme: A heads up since I know there will be some folks who definitely do not want these sorts of themes in their whump. Expect some general smut/kink as well. I use “kink” and “hornyposting” for these subjects.
- Dubcon: This is meant to cover the “grey area” of toxic relationships, manipulation, bad communication, alcohol/intoxication, unsafe kink, and general bad-decision-making. I will tag this as “tw dubcon” and “tw dubious consent” as well as “just to be safe” if you want to be extra careful.

What you probably won’t see much of (but I might reblog):
- Noncon: I occasionally reblog noncon/implied noncon or noncon adjacent posts, but I don’t expect to write any myself, as my preference is dubcon. I will be tagging it with “tw noncon”, “tw implied noncon” and “just to be safe” for cases that might not be explicitly noncon but adjacent in theme.
- Whumpees who are minors: I am an adult, and I typically don’t like to engage with whump involving minors. HOWEVER, there may be rare exceptions - emotional and environmental whump are likely. I will not be writing or reblogging any sexual whump involving a minor, but I may occasionally reblog material that references prior CSA as long as it’s not an explicit scene.
- Female whumpees: My main OC whumpee is a male character. I don’t have anything against female whump, but imo there’s more cultural baggage that comes with it that makes me less inclined to engage with it.
- Character Death: I generally find it unsatisfying for whump. The “game” of the genre is to prolong suffering, so character deaths feel antithetical to my personal view on the matter. Not impossible for me to write or reblog, but it’s just not particularly satisfying for any character to hit a point they can’t actually (at least hypothetically) recover from. Will be tagged “character death” should it arise.
- Pet/hybrid/animalistic/non-humanoid whumpees: Just not into the animal/human combos. I just don’t find it compelling. Pet whump as a conditioning trope is… not really my thing when it leans too heavily towards petplay* tropes, but I do enjoy some of the dehumanization components.
- Emeto: There may be mentions of vomiting which will be tagged “tw vomit” but the specificity of “emeto” is a little too aligned with the kink version of that tag* and it’s not my thing. I will not be using “emeto” as a tag because I don’t want the overlap.
- ETA: Any content with a focus on disordered eating behaviors or intentional food control will be tagged “tw food control”. This does not necessarily cover the general aftermath/recovery of a whumpee being starved, such as them struggling to regain weight for example, but would cover things like Whumper intentionally controlling how the Whumpee eats or recovery specifically focused on a Whumpee’s relationship with food.
* I actually don’t mind kink overlapping with my whump, but these kinks (and some others, probably) are simply not my taste and I prefer to avoid them and/or engage with them only under specific circumstances.

I'm so tired of minors coming online and announcing their age and other sensitive personal information to the digital beyond. No, saying you're 13 y/o doesn't protect you from weirdos, it just attracts more of them your way and then you'll complain why people are weird to you.
This is my biggest problem with the internet nowadays, I'm not saying they're at fault if they do get targeted online, but seriously, back in my day *back cracking*, everyone was 21 until they turn 21.
It's also so concerning as an author myself how these kids carelessly interact with content not for them, leave a big fat comment stating why it makes them uncomfortable, and when you ask why they're even reading it, they seriously say "Stuff like these shouldn't be anywhere online for minors like me".

If you're curious, it's totally fine to take a peek, God knows I've done so myself at a young age, but at least have the decency to do it privately because you're entering spaces not meant for you and then later complain when it offends you specifically because your not yet developed brain can't handle mature content.
Can parents just please do their job? It's not my responsibility to comfort and set boundaries with your chronically online rabid child when they're the ones willingly accessing my NSFW art and fics.
honestly I think tiktok and how social media etiquette is today play a big part in this. I know at this point I probably sound like I “blame everything on tiktok” but considering how the majority of puritans are there and how cancel culture spreads like a plague, it’s always people with this “tiktok mindset” that think the internet revolves around their personal likings and comfort. and these people, be it adults or minors, think others have to censor themselves because “there are minors on the internet”. they seem to have trouble understanding the very simple concept that strangers on the internet are not the parents or babysitters of minors who choose to consume nsfw contents on their own free will.
and I am not saying minors should not create or consume nsfw contents either. I know they do things that are more extreme than this in real life. when I was a minor, I sure did things that were way more extreme than reading spicy fanfics. but yeah it becomes an issue, or at least annoying, when adults — who exist in adult space — are expected to censor themselves because minors decide to walk into a space that says “not suitable for minors”.

Whumpee talking an inexperienced or emotional caretaker through treating their injuries, forcing their tone to remain calm and reassuring despite the immense pain.
hmm caretaker that is morally grey and kills whumper for whumpee but it only makes whumpee angry with them. bonus points if the kill happens in front of whumpee.

leader whumpee who sacrificed everything for their team— who tried everything they could before they had to resort to their last option, the only one they had left: surrendering.
and they didn't know what they had expected from them— perhaps not gratitude, but at least understanding? everyone knew what was going to become of them otherwise, right? they knew of every threat, knew how suffering would steal the oxygen from their lungs, they knew that their end wouldn't be anything quick. they knew that they had tried everything. everything.
so when they are met with resentment and betrayal, called a backstabber behind their back— it comes as a surprise. it hits, and it hits hard. can't they see that this way, at least, no one gets hurt?
(except whumpee— but that's occasional, and no one has to know about that part of the deal. and it's not that bad, all things considered, they tell themself.)
maybe they should have expected this. they have no one on their side, now, and they're utterly alone. it's lonely.
and as whumper calls them in for a "debrief", the dirty looks they receive from team hurt worse than whatever whumper could have planned for today. the thought comes unbidden, though undoubtedly true: they deserve this.
Magical healing that is easy and perfect, but only on fresh wounds. Once something has scarred over, there’s nothing it can do, even if the injury healed wrong the first time.
Of course whumpee doesn't like being whumper's captive, but it's been a very long time and they're really not distressed about it anymore. The situation may not be great but it is what it is, and whumpee has adapted well.
When a new whumpee joins them, constantly afraid, reacting with confusion and panic to things they don't yet understand, horrified by things the old whumpee doesn't bat an eye at, the old whumpee finds themselves disturbed, reminded too much of memories from when they were the new one.
Do they try to help the new whumpee through this time? Or do they keep their distance, too disturbed by this echo of their past self?

Living weapon whumpee who keeps up defiance, yet is still tamed. They talk back, they don’t obey commands.
They’ll still come running back or let their handlers touch them, but that’s just common sense. The punishments for those would be worse, so stopping them is pointless.
The handlers find their defiance funny when they’re still so obviously a leashed pet.
They kill handlers, but there are replacements. The higher ups have agreed their value is worth the casualties.
When caretaker finds them, caretaker thinks they have a chance to get whumpee back. That they’re still holding onto hope.
Whumpee is just violent entertainment.
Whumpee not realising they're overtired/dehydrated/malnourished/sick until they try something normal and nearly faint. It could be anything, from a tiny part of their daily routine to something they expected to do without issue because they didn't know their health would impact it.
Bonus points if whumpee brushes it off because they didn't actually faint, so all they have to do is be careful.
Bonus bonus points if caretaker saw this, questioned whumpee, and asked if they're okay, so now whumpee has to find a way to reassure caretaker

The constant fear, the exhaustion of it, is taking its toll, and eventually, it simply becomes too much for whumpee. They demand- or beg -that whumper finally get whatever it is they're going to do over with.
Maybe whumper grins, was just waiting for them to ask. Maybe they say whumpee beter not complain... “after all, you wanted this.”
Or maybe whumper is disappointed, says they thought whumpee was better.
Maybe they claim they don't know what whumpee's talking about.
