and i like arackinss he's the best boy, sincere but why can't we just accept that the sucks butt?

people of course took it with a grain of salt because netflix played in their face more than they should've but i think this show goes way beyond that

first and foremost the humor is decent, could be better of course but the puns are great. and i like how they aren't sasuge riding on one joke at a time but istead make it relevant again in another episode.

the general atmosphere is also great, i just love the way it looks lived in, it's not just a forest. it's their home.

but to me the absolute plesant suprise bomb of the show were the characters.

starting off with josh, the sensitive man-child incel who despite his incompetence is also suprisingly nice and gentle. i think he is a great example of how incels really are. because most of those troopers really ain't bad people. just possibly autistic loners who have a hard time standing their ground.

then there's ray. there isn't much depth to his character from first sight. he's the average adult humor jolly joker but the show plays around the suggestions to why he's the way he is quite well in several episodes, and you can connect the dots. his fear of commitment circles back to his childhood. his mother to be exact. just be cool, don't be a cuck is what his mother taught him, and he tries his best. he just wants validation and praise. what he's been missing out his whole life. the episode where he did genuinely fell in love and got dumped showcases that statement excellently.

then there's fawn. i think she is rather reletable for the average youthful white woman in their twenties. she's just a normal woman who wants a normal relationship. is that too much to ask for? apperantly. she is the most realistic one with her relationship and the show pretty much follows trough every possible way a relationship can suck through her lenses.
