My dirty little secret? I like having a speaker when I’m at the beach. I like hearing my music and the waves. I also don’t really get why other people get so mad about it. Like the ocean is so loud. You can just walk down a little ways and I promise my little Bose Bluetooth speaker is no longer going to be a problem for you. I am a creature of peer pressure so I don’t play the music. But I do feel like other people are being unreasonable in demanding I not do so.

I am sitting here alone on my couch. My house is empty. My husband is away on a trip. All of the plans I made have fallen through. It’s peaceful. As my plans fell through one by one I felt a little lonely. But I woke up this morning and somehow I felt better. Remembered that while it is a little lonely it’s also a chance to recharge and reflect and be still.
