Is this trial the actual court proceeding we see where evidence is given etc like the diddy one and the one where he said if the glove doesn’t fit we can’t equip - ok Simpson
If by "we see" you mean we have a video recording, then we will on some days. Not all of them, unless the judge changes his mind. Diddy's latest trial was not televised, though. So, not sure if that is what you meant.
The evidence is going to be presented, yes. That is how all trials work. The public and media attending the trial hearings in person will be able to see it in the courtroom. Usually, evidence presented in the open court is a public record and regular citizens/media companies can request copies of it afterwards (e.g. just like how media obtained McDonald's body cam footage). However, sometimes the evidence is not permitted to be shared outside the courtroom. This can happen when defendant's right to a fair trial might be violated by having the evidence published publicly. E.g. if 2 or more defendants are tried for the same offense or when 2 or more cases share the same evidence and their trials are at different dates. Then the evidence shown at the first (defendant's) trial might be withheld because releasing it publicly before the second (defendant-s) trial could prejudice the second defendant.
Given that Luigi has a second/federal trial, defense may ask that most of the evidence is not shared publicly as to not violate Luigi's right to a fair trial in his federal case.
BREAKING: Luigi Mangione's New York State court has released the press plan for his upcoming trial. It will last 6-8 weeks, 4 days/week (~24-36 days in total). Press will only be allowed to take photos before hearings begin and not throughout the whole proceedings - just like they did during suppression hearings back in December. "Occasionally" video recording will be permitted at judge's discretion.
BREAKING: Luigi Mangione's federal trial has been delayed until Jan 2027 due to scheduling conflicts with New York state case. Voire dire will begin on Jan 5, opening statements on Jan 25, and the trial will be around 2-3 weeks long. Jury questionnaire won't be made public before voire dire starts.
BREAKING: Luigi Mangione's defense team responds to NBC's claim that they discussed a plea deal with federal prosecutors, saying that prosecutors/law enforcement made these claims to prejudice Luigi.
Reminder: this month NBC aired Luigi "documentary" featuring NYPD officers and lied about them being involved in Luigi's case.

BREAKING: Luigi Mangione's state judge Gregory Carro effectively admitted his pro-prosecution bias. He intentionally did not protect Luigi's constitutional rights (double jeopardy & effective assistance of counsel) to give prosecutors a chance to try a high-profile case for fame. Notably, for 13 years Carro worked as a prosecutor at the same DA's office now prosecuting Luigi. And for 10 years, Carro and Luigi's prosecutor Joel Seidemann worked together at the same trial division.
BREAKING: Luigi Mangione's team withdrew their notice of intent to proffer psychiatric evidence. This means that Luigi's team is not going with Extreme Emotional Disturbance defense and so it remains prosecutors' sole responsibility to prove that he is guilty.
BREAKING: Luigi Mangione's prosecutor Joel Seidemann's brother (also a lawyer) attended university with Netanyahu's father and has connections with/advised senior IDF/Mossad commanders, CIA, many US senators, conservative UK PMs (Cameron, Johnson), MI6, senior members of both Trump and Biden administrations.
New photos of Luigi Mangione from today's hearing:
BREAKING: Luigi Mangione's team will be presenting extreme emotional disturbance defense at the trial (which can reduce charges from murder to manslaughter). This does NOT mean Luigi is guilty. Prosecutors are still going to need to prove that in court beyond reasonable doubt.

BREAKING: Luigi Mangione's NY state case hearing could not appear at the hearing scheduled today because prosecutors failed to serve necessary documents to have him transferred from the federal custody (which they have been doing all this time without any issues). The hearing has been rescheduled for tomorrow morning.
Further explanation. State Prosecutors need to: 1. Get a Writ of Ad Prosequendum (an order to obtain temporary custody of an inmate for court proceedings) from the state judge 2. Deliver the said writ to the Warden of MDC Brooklyn (federal facility, where Luigi is held) - for some reason prosecutors failed to do this.

BREAKING: ethics complaint was filed against Pam Bondi citing Luigi Mangione’s case as one example of her misconduct. Moreover, Bondi violated "trust of the American public” by making false statements on Fox News in Epstein case in order to trick public into thinking she had evidence she did not actually possess.
As a reminder: Bondi also went on Fox News to announce DOJ seeking death penalty against Luigi - before presenting evidence to grand jury and obtaining an indictment against him. Luigi's defense argued that her statements prejudiced the jury. This complain states that given Bondi's position as an Attorney General "it seems obvious that a large segment of the public would have reasonably relied on Ms. Bondi’s statements" on Fox News in Epstein's case. This can be applied to Luigi's case as well.
BREAKING: Luigi Mangione's defense responds to prosecutors' opposition to parts of the jury questionnaire (we compiled both) giving even more insight into what jurors will be sought.
This is a MUST-READ for anyone living in New York.
For example, defense is looking for jurors who:
have "real-world responsibilities" in their jobs/living situations
do and don't have children
don't regularly stay at Hilton Hotel
have no ties to/interest in UHC (e.g. hold UHC stock)
don't watch pro-prosecution biased TV shows
have no intrinsic biases against people charged with committing a crime
Would the backpack from Central Park and the monopoly money be suppressed?
No, those items do not have Forth Amendment protections and therefore, they are not suppressible, because they are considered to have been voluntarily abandoned. In general, evidence can only be suppressed if it has been obtained unlawfully or in cases of forced abandonment (e.g. when a defendant throws away evidence in response to an illegal police pursuit).

I did not mean for dumb stuff; I thought they are able to use it for his trial; that the media is working to hard painting a specific narrative to make him look guilty"
This Is A Good Point Just Cus Prosecutors Most Likely Will Bring It Up !
There are more than a dozen of criminal cases all over the country that cite Luigi as defendants' inspiration to commit crimes (this includes the highest profile cases - as prominent as LM's). Federal prosecutors brought it up multiple times already. M*ngionistas did not commit a crime, if state prosecutors were to bring them up, they would in the same manner as federal prosecutor did when he briefly mentioned supporters outside courtroom (April 1st hearing and it is not likely to happen during the jury trial, though.). Not good for Luigi, obviously, but not as bad (in a legal context) as being associated with actual criminal activities, which is what prosecutors are more likely to focus on, if they were to focus on it at all (previously it was only mentioned in the context of aggr. factors - which are no longer relevant).
The harm caused by M*ngionistas is different, defense cannot do much to fix it. They can get a restraining order, but then again - there are many more similarly behaving people out there. So it is going to continue to happen unless we all step in and stop excusing, promoting, engaging with these people and shun them away from the community instead (and also not buying their disingenuous statements distancing themselves from all of this, now that it is too late). It is also up to all of us to restore the overall image of LM supporters - it was already ruined way before M*ngionistas' infamous interview (it was just a final nail in the coffin). So, only getting rid of M*ngionistas will not change that.
Defense already put out a FAQ about grifters using LM's name and also gave a statement to media. It is also telling how they did not put that statement on their website - as that would bring more attention to them. Either way, there is nothing in that post worth bothering defense over as they more or less know about all this and it is not specific enough to be of much use in legal scenarios. If you have more specific evidence about M*ngionistas' motivations and ties to media - e.g. screenshots, videos, names, private messages - then it may be more useful/helpful.
Did you send that to his lawyers about the mangionstas ?
I did not mean for dumb stuff; I thought they are able to use it for his trial; that the media is working to hard painting a specific narrative to make him look guilty.
They know this about media, too. ADAs have connections with media and KFA's a former ADA. She worked for CNN, too. Both Agnifilos have ties to media. And this was not about him, but about his supporters. Of course, it still does not reflect well on him by association. But because of this degree of separation, defense would have an incredibly hard time using it "for his trial" due to 1st Amendment (free speech rights). Assuming they would be using it for their prejudice arguments. Besides, there is no shortage of examples of media directly making him look guilty. And it seems like defense will not be arguing about prejudice anymore.
A more direct link to either prosecution or certain entities in heaIth insurance industry would need to be found for defense to be able to use this "for his trial" and, as of now, the web of connections is too subtle. Moreover, some of these people have also likely been unwittingly manipulated into doing or saying things that ended up harming Luigi. The lack of intentional tort further complicates everything.
