Blaming Jeremy’s Emmy nomination snub on Claire’s presence is idiotic.
Story is not the focus when voting for performance categories. They have writing categories for a reason. 😭 Billy Crudup and Zendaya got nominations for their performances this year, although their respective shows were all but panned by critics.
Jeremy won his second Emmy for the episode “The Bear” which featured Claire prominently. He was nominated in Season 3 for ‘Tomorrow’ which had appearances by Claire.
Bears and Scallop both received nominations this year, episodes where Claire appears!
It’s very easy to see that The Bear lost favor with critics with the divisive Season 3 that moved too “slow.” And there was so much backlash when they became the most nominated comedy ever for Season 2. Blaming it on a ship just because you don’t like the character/actress is loser behavior, I’m SORRY. Get a grip!
Jeremy has been in an incredibly challenging field from the start. Widows Bay swooped in and nagged a bunch of nominations. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II was a surprising (but welcome!) nomination. Steve Carell reappeared for his new show. He just lost out. Plus, I presume they submitted “Goodbye” for his nomination, which famously, does not feature Claire! And if I’m right on this, Sophie was submitted for Ayo, which surprise, surprise, does have Claire! I need some of you to be serious for once in your miserable lives!
These people are bordering on schizophrenia, obsession, or simply having nothing better to do with their miserable lives.
