to put on my serious hat for a sec after seeing a few tags along this line of thinking, joking aside: many things i have seen actually tagged 'latex gloves' or 'latex' generally aren't porn. they're entirely sfw pictures of clothed people in sexy outfits, which are attractive to people into the kink but absolutely not explicit. all goofing aside, it is absolutely not a given that something tagged with a common kink is going to be 'pornography': very often it will just be a picture of a hot person wearing clothing people find sexy or whatever!

the thing is, a clothed hot person in 'normal' sexy attire (e.g. a bikini) gets called a pin up, but a fully clothed person in anything considered 'weird' (e.g. latex) skips past that into getting called porn, despite being no more explicit. it genuinely is a double standard. close ups of hands in gloves may be intended to titillate, but they're not explicit! my joke on this post about me being horny aside, that many of the posts tagged 'latex gloves' are intended to be sexy truly does not automatically justify this kind of thing, because there is a double standard as to what gets to be a 'sfw pinup' and what is always 'fetish porn', yknow? what is considered 'explicit' is very much based on the idea certain kinds of non-explicit sexy posting are More Suspect, and i do think that is worth mentioning.
