no offense but a lot of people writing mad queen metas might understand dany’s decisions in AGOT a little better if they stopped to consider that she is a 13/14 year old child. yes she grew up quickly, yes she’s mature, but a child is still a child. being an eighth grader does in fact play a major role in her psychology and how she copes with trauma. however acknowledging this kind of throws a wrench into people’s agendas of treating dany like an adult woman in order to vilify her and grant her as little grace as possible, while simultaneously treating every other child in the series like the child that they are. “he’s just a baby, it’s not his fault, blame the adults around him, let him be a kid :( not her though, she should know better” whatever stay weird ig.
