1. Generally, first two and a half seasons; they just hit differently.

2. “What about me?” scene with Izzie and Denny, and their whole arc, and how Izzie has never been the same after his death. She has never stopped loving him.

3. Season 3, episodes 16 & 17. Listen, when I say that I have never ever felt more seen, more heard, and more understood than when I saw Mer going through her depression. And no one cared enough to notice how heavily depressed she was…

4. Meredith and Lexie’s relationship.

5. Mer & Alex, Mer & Mark, Mer & Callie. There is genuinely something special about her connection with some of the characters, whether it was more developed or primarily stayed unexplored.

6. Merder’s love for each other. While I don’t like Derek a lot in some moments… Their connection has always been the one. I can’t imagine them separate or her marrying someone else — not because I don’t want her to be happy, but because, “It’s just that Derek was, Derek was epic for her. They were the great love story. I mean, that girl’s heart beat for Derek Shepherd. It just, it never occurred to me that she would ever be with anyone else. He was perfect. He was everything. That man turned her world.”
