Italian made single-shot break open pistol that uses a 1911 frame as the base platform. They were made in several different calibers; this particular example is chambered in .223 Remington. Fairly uncommon since the Thors were only imported for a short time but appear to still be in production in Europe under the name Raptor. I personally own a .308 Winchester version and I did test out a Crimson Trace laser grip on it. The problem was one of the retaining pins is placed exactly in front of where the laser is, blocking its use. In .308 the recoil is not that bad at all, so I assume this .223 version would be gentle on the hands. (GRH)
