Totally forgot to answer this. Okay, first off- I’m sorry these women were awful to you. I don’t recommend teens to date adults while still in hs at all, because there’s a lot of creeps out there. I don’t care if I’m a hypocrit.

That aside, I think we just got lucky? I wasn’t looking for a partner at that point, and we met by chance. She was always kind, and we also kept certain things parts of our lives split while I was a teenager. We also had enough in common to make it work, despite our differences. We were also very physically compatible, which plays a role. I genuinely wasn’t stressed about the age gap back then either (and she never cared about it at all). I was more concerned about the difference in economic background/status, ethnic difference, the fact that my parents couldn’t find out etc.
