Camden was thankful that Glenda wouldn’t push things- especially when she could tell that it wasn’t a nice topic. “I’m all for celebrating.” The blonde kissed her fiancee. “But if you think I’m taking this off my finger to recreate what just happened, you’re bat-shit crazy.” She stood up and offered her hand. “When did you hatch up this plan?”

Glenda went easily as he pulled her into his house and into the bathroom. His hands worked her clothes off easily as she stretched, helping him and soon her own hands worked his clothes off, a smirk upon her features as she did so. She still cuddled close to him, enjoying the warmth as she sighed contently. “I missed this…” She told him. “I missed you…” She said as she looked up at him, green eye meeting identical ones on her twin’s features. 

Camden sighed when Glenda mentioned her family. They hadn’t really ever talked about it- but Camden preferred it that way. She didn’t have a great childhood. Her mother died when she was young and her father had used and abused her for his own gain. “My family doesn’t matter.” 

Glen kissed his twin’s head while she snuggled against him. “I know just what you need.” He nodded. “Of course I will join you. You never have to. I’ll always be here when you need me.” His tone was soft, with a hint of persistence. “Come on.” He took her hand while they walked to his bathroom. His place wasn’t much but it had a decent size tub. Once he turned to face Glenda, his hands were on her shirt, moving to pull her clothes off.

Camden’s eyes flickered from the ring to Glenda’s eyes then back to the ring. “Yes.” She answered before even considering saying the opposite. A normal woman might have started crying but Camden- she took the ring from the box and slid it on her own finger- the ring finger of her left hand. “You did damn good, Baby. Damn good.” Her bright red lips spread to reveal a pearly smile. “I love you too.” She crawled into Glenda’s lap.

The blonde wasn’t sure where her girlfriend was going with this. Sure, they’d been affectionate before but it wasn’t usually quite like this. Camden’s breath hitched when she saw the box finally. She was completely dumbfounded- her brain briefly shut off. Once she was able to blink herself back to reality, she gasped a little to see the ring for a second time. It looked expensive- something that Glenda liked but also something that would look natural on Camden’s finger. “Are you serious?” It was a rather off the cuff question but Glenda had always maintained that she was a psychopath and incapable of emotions.
