you have to be careful reading too many things that are good/smart/well-written bc then you encounter something that isnt and you get confused like ? why didnt they just make this good ? were they stupid

Literally what is WRONG with my state man 😭

Nothing is inherently bad with being a solid, but it can be stressful. So many of our society's institutions require being solid. Becoming a liquid instead is of course the classic: it's easy, it's reliable. Now, despite the risks, I'm a big fan of being gas, you just have to watch out for open windows and stiff breezes. If you can swing being plasma you have my respect. I've been trying to plasma for months now and I just can't quite get there. Skill issue I'm afraid. Sometimes you just have to find what works for you about the state you're already in. Anyway, good luck with your state!

I personally like being in supercritical state because it's not neatly described by either liquid nor gas phase. Of course, you have to keep in mind that supercritical behaviour is not completely understood so maybe talk to a trusted friend or loved one to watch you for the first time and go slow with increasing temperature and pressure. But it is really freeing to be so undefined. Ignore the haters, they just want to keep you contained in their neat labels! People who think there really is such a thing as a distinct phase boundary between fluid and gas state just have never experimented with their parameters like that. It's sad really.
