Canon: -IMPORTANT NOTE: This is currently a Fanfic I'm writing, so I don't want to give TOO much away. This one will be short and sweet. -Star Command, where Heather lives and works, learns of the Pabu Invasion, and become greatly concerned about the Empire expanding into their territory. Heather and her team, the Psi-Corps, volunteer to make contact with the island and their refugees. -This is set in the "Tech is Alive, STFU." Universe. So of course Tech is going to have some strained relationships, PTSD, and guilt after Plan 99. -Just so y'all know, there will be a LOT of Psychology in this. -Like, a LOT. -Heather's team, the Psi-Corps arrive on Pabu safely, and welcome their citizens into their ship. Tech, curious about the newcomers, also boards the ship and speaks with Heather. Heather quickly endears herself to him by answering his questions regarding the customized space shuttle she uses to travel with her team. -Tech decides they need a hyperdrive, and finds himself offering to help them install one. You'd think that pretty rude, but Heather thinks this is a great idea! She thanks him and tells him she can't wait to get started! -Oh, Tech...what have you gotten yourself into?

As we know, you are able to visit most of your favorite Disney Characters at the Disney Parks. Here, these characters live and work in these Disney Parks. If they aren’t filming a movie or show, they are welcome to greet guests.

Heather Lightmoon, being Buzz Lightyear’s sister, is permitted to stay in the parks due to her brother’s lineage.

During the 2020 Pandemic, construction began on the Disney Plus Studios, a studio where episodes and movies for the Disney + streaming service are produced. Each studio: Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic has studios on premises.

Characters from each studio encounter each other during active filming. For Example: Loki and Tarkin could grab a coffee if they wanted to, Wrecker and Luisa could arm wrestle in the cafeteria, Buzz and Dr. Strange could discuss Quantum Physics, anything you can think of!

But this story has two characters, one a star and another a barista, where they should’ve been galaxies apart, meet in this studio.

NOTE: I will be setting this studio in Orlando, Florida. No offense to the Disneyland community, (I’m sure it’s great! Would LOVE to go one day!) I’m more familiar with the Disney World park. Besides, they have the Kennedy Space center, which is SUPER useful for a space character. Am I right?

About Heather Lightmoon

This is the TL;DR portion of Heather Lightmoon’s story. The full, detailed version can be found on my AO3: Gift and Confinement. More will be added to the series.

Heather was born and raised on Saturn, her parents died from an inexplicable event when she was 12 years old. This led to her placement at the Star Command Academy.

During her time at the Academy, Heather met and fell in love with a boy named Zeral. On her 18th birthday, Zeral manipulated her into breaking into the Archives and stealing the Mace, leaving her to face the consequences of his actions.

Heather was imprisoned and expelled from the Academy, but managed to escape and met up with a familiar cat named Solar, who joins her when she goes on the run.

Without giving too much lore away, Heather is able to reunite with her brother, Buzz Lightyear, and learns a shocking secret about Zeral.

In this universe, Buzz takes Heather to his home in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom.

Clone Wars

This timeline will be in the same format as the releases of the Clone Wars and Bad Batch. (With some of the timeline being fictionalized for story purposes.)

The Disney Plus studio opened in limited capacity during early 2021. The requirements to enter the studio were to be fully vaccinated, wear a mask, and observe social distancing protocol.

At this time, Heather was hired as a part-time barista for the studio cafe in the lobby. The cafe was a cozy retreat where you could get the creative juices flowing or just relax.

The last season for the Clone Wars was the first Star Wars project that would be filmed in this studio.

When filming began for the Bad Batch arc, Heather encountered Tech for the first time. He ordered a medium coffee with a hint of cinnamon. Heather was quite entranced by Tech’s eyes, but tried to ignore the budding feelings inside of her.

At first, Heather’s feelings were easy to brush off. After all, this was just a guy who visited the cafe to get his coffee. Nothing more, nothing less.

Tech was the same way, she was the girl named Heather who made his coffee and provided snacks in the morning. But he did notice she walked home with Buzz most of the time.

One time, he asked her about Buzz, that’s where he learned they were siblings.

After the Bad Batch Arc wrapped up filming, Heather would lay awake at night, her mind racing about the trooper who ordered a cinnamon coffee. Tech just couldn't stop running through her mind, no matter how much she tried to fight it.

Little did she know, Tech would also be thinking of her late into the night as well.

When The Bad Batch was announced, Heather was extremely excited about seeing Tech again, but she tried to tell herself it wouldn’t lead anywhere.

But that didn’t stop her from stalking him on Spacebook...

Season One

By the time The Bad Batch started filming, the COVID restrictions had been lifted. Heather and Tech saw each other’s faces for the first time ever. Heather was quite flustered by how...handsome Tech was under his helmet.

Because of the restrictions being lifted, the lunchroom opened. Usually, Heather would leave around lunchtime, but she decided to stay through lunch to try the food. AKA: Stare at Tech.

Heather would usually sit by herself, a classic introvert move. Once, Wrecker waved her over to sit with the Batch and Omega. While hanging out with them, she found herself opening up more.

After this, she would start staying later at work. Tech quickly became one of her favorite customers, she had his order and favorite pastries memorized in no time. Sometimes, she would know that Tech needed a pastry just by looking at him. She usually gave these to him “on the house”.

Ettie is a Red Panda sinner. She has orange skin with white markings similar to a Red Panda. Her eyebrows are short white hairs and her eyes are a dark pink with black scalaras. She has brown coloration on her arms and legs. She also has a ringed tail and small ears that just about poke out from her hair. Her hair is brown and up to her shoulders. She has a singular bang covering part of her right eye and temple where she was attacked. Carlette wears an open straight jacket similar to a mental asylum patient, with belts to fasten around the torso and sleeves. Underneath is a black button down dress with gold buttons. She also wears combat boots.

Ette is a very shy and withdrawn character who prefers solitude whenever possible, so she used to live in the wastelands outside Pentagram City. Only venturing into the city at night for food and supplies, usually before the shops close. She doesn’t socialize much and mostly keeps to herself, as she’s too afraid to either be attacked again or mocked. But if someone she cares about is hurt or in danger, she will take action. While acting professionally, she tries to maintain a detached demeanor by essentially turning her feelings off and treating the condition, as she was trained to do.

Dr. Carlette Yung was a well-respected Psychologist working at the Clarendale Asylum. She had performed countless shock therapies, insulin comas, and lobotomies with a surgical level of precision. She was precise, accurate, and met the needed numbers for the era of asylums. But she was troubled, Carlette heard whispers of some kind of movement, to...de-institutionalize patients. Her patients. Just when she was rumored to become the director of the Asylum! All she had to do was keep pressing on until summer’s end, when the frail director would step down and the chairman would make his decision. Racing against the clock, Carlette put everything she had into “Curing” patients, no matter the cost. In her busy chaotic life, she only had time for one person: Erick. The man who said would stand by her side, knowing no one else would.

On August 7th, Carlette simply glanced at that morning’s newspaper, and her world crumbled before her. A wedding announcement stated that her one and only Erick was getting married to someone else! Abandoning her duties, she burst out of the hospital and into the church, demanding answers from Erick. However, Erick gaslit her, saying that he had never met this woman in his life, claiming that she had spent too long in the asylum, and suggested she needed a lobotomy. Enraged at Carlette’s audacity, the bride rushed at her with a candelabra and struck her HARD in the right temple. The temporal bone of her skull shattered, causing an instant concussion. When Carlette tried to get up, she was rushed at with a shard of glass. The bride was trying to give HER a lobotomy! She begged Erick for help, but he only told her: “God forbid I get divorced, I’ll see you in hell.” When the shard of glass pierced the side of her eye, Carlette died instantly.

Ettie once ditched school to take a boat straight to New Orleans, where she spent the entire day and most of the night. Her parents had to come and get her. They were SO PISSED, but Ettie would have done it again!

I know what some of y'all are thinking: Oh god, Eaglet created ANOTHER Psychologist character?! Yes. Yes I did. Except she's more distinct than Heather. (Besides the Red Panda thing.) She practiced Psychology in the 1950's, LONG before we realized: Asylums bad! Talk Therapy Good! While Heather practice in...IDK 3026 or whatever, LOL. And another thing: Ooooh, she paired her up with ALASTOR, how ORIGINAL! I KNOW Alastor has like, 500 pairings on the internet. But I figured I'd toss my hat in the ring! By the way, this is my first time creating an Ace character, and writing an AroAce relationship!
