Rating Kirk x Spock Ship Names
covert, secretive, sounds like I’m a spy talking about information I cannot publically disclose
it just sounds cool? like, oh no, I wasn’t just reading kirk x spock fanfiction, I was reading literature regarding The Premise™️
it’s classy, there, i said it
ship names that aren’t just a mash up of two names are unique and cool and i will always appreciate them just a tad bit more than the usual ship names with their usual antics
sounds like something Spock would say? idk if that makes sense but like “captain, i believe this is going to set the premise for the rest of our time spent together”
it can be confusing? like are you saying you like the premise of star trek like the fundamentals of the franchise/series or the ship???
nothing else, The Premise is a good ship name and that’s fax
simple, easy, effective, and follows the tried and true formula of just mashing two character names together and wham: ship name
everyone will know what you’re talking about when you say it
the character names do flow together kinda nicely, not gonna lie
sounds too much like spork,,, i don’t like saying it aloud
the vibes are just slightly off, ya know? when i think of kirk and spock, i think of t’hy’la, i think of lingering gazes, of slow burn intimacy and angst.,,,, “spirk” just does not pass the vibe check I’m sorry
but I will use spirk anyways because just like usual, even when something does not suit my fancy I just deal with it
would look cool if i carved it into a tree trunk with a heart around it
short and simple, kirk would like it probably
sounds professional, in a way? like, ah yes, this is just my weekly K/S report
unclear, imo? like which K and which S... so many other fandoms probably wish they could use K/S for their K-name x S-name ships
i can’t pronounce it in my head,, is it “KS” or “K slash S” ?
accurate! they are space husbands, this is true
feels cool and special just like The Premise, except less 60s-covert-gayness and more 21st-century-outness, definitely fits the vibes for newer fans
kind of?.? specifies which ship you’re talking about? like, ,, K/S and Spirk are used for BOTH aos & tos, but space husbands definitely feels more tos
reminds me of the “gays in space” meme
space husbands doesn’t scream “star trek” so when i say it aloud, my friends don’t realize i’m talking about kirk x spock, and that’s just a crying shame
thank you for coming to my ted talk
