The Ribbons The ribbons symbolizes the relationship between this two. While Madoka calmly adjusts her ribbon, Homura ties her hands together in a prayer gesture. The light symbolizes hope and aspirations. While Madoka is surrounded by light, Homura's only source of light is Madoka herself. I'm not very happy with how it turned out, but I still enjoyed the process :) I found the original idea soooo cool that the picture practically drew itself and also this artwork helped me understand more about how I want to draw certain things. At the end of the day I am glad that I created it!

It's kinda flopped in my other socials but I still love this artwork 'cus It's really personal tehe^^ I love Björk and her music litteraly saves me every day, so I wanted to create something that is inspired by her art. This song has a different meaning behind it, but my brain still managed to connect "Family" and one of my favourite characters! In the song one of the main topics is the triangle of love, so I wanted to draw smth dynamic and angular, but at the same time soft and enveloping. All three characters in the picture are holding a sword - a heirloom of the Hoshimi family. The bottom of the sword is held by Miyabi's father as the head of the family, while the middle is held by Miyabi's mother (I wanted to show how she practically passes it into the hands of her daughter) and Miyabi touches it lightly, respectfully and even passionately in a way. In the painting, all three characters look at the viewer, but only Miyabi's mom looks at us straight on (symbolizing her death). SOOOO I guess thats it (o 3 <) hope u enjoyed my silly rumble and please give this song a chance! It's wonderful and absolutely fantastic!
