Our collective name is Reimu (he/they/dove), also sometimes are called Wally or Eiden. Depends who is fronting, but it's usually a safe bet it's one of us.
This is my yumeship / fanfic writing project side blog, as I don't want to put it all on my main blog.

This is a paraphase from our carrd, if that's inaccessible / hard to navigate.
I don't believe in DNIs, but I do believe in interaction disclaimers; I technically can't stop you from initially interacting, but you at least have a good idea why you might get blocked.
Reasons I'll block:
β discrimination against anyone for race, religion, queer identity, neurodiverse, or disability statuses.
β bio-essentialist belief groups and inter-community bigotry aggravators: examples; TERFs / radfems, transmeds, anti-endogenic systems, cluster-B demonizers, etc.
β you participate in fandom discourse often, or you harass people over fiction; pro-censorship talking points; purity culture / anti-kink; define "proship" as "problematic ship" rather than the fandom stance it is.
β you engage with our interests in a way that made us uncomfortable, bad takes, etc; don't wanna rock the boat for no reason.
Not explicitly said in carrd, but I do block Zarina Kassir yumes and am not likely to engage with Tsumugi Aoba yumes unless you're civil / not toxic.
We are anti-censorship, but refuse to use "pro-ship" or "pro-fiction" labels due to how the discourse narrative has made these terms functionally useless with "antis" in differentiating an identity stance. Not subscribing to the divisive rhetoric around the labels and its roots of radfems astroturfing anti-sex and regressive ideas of gender and sex. These groups also routinely support policy that stigmatizes mentally ill folk, and that goes against my greater interests as a progressive. We collectively do not want to validate the political identity posturing of those finding excuses to censor fiction based on how "uncomfortable" they feel.

Please return us to a world where Notp and squick are used for a ship you donβt like instead of just making up a load of bullshit about how immoral it is or w/e lolΒ
a short selection of concepts and phrases that used to be commonplace in fandom and weβd really benefit from making that a thing again:
NOTP: the opposite of an OTP (One True Pairing). It is a ship a fan strongly dislikes. The word is a portmanteau of βnoβ and βOTPβ and thus is not a contraction of any particular phrase.
Squick: anything that is a deep-seated, visceral turn-off. Squicks may be shared by many fans or be specific to one; one personβs kink may be another personβs squick.
YKINMKATO, or kink-tomato: Your Kink Is Not My Kink, And Thatβs Okay: used to indicate support for fannish diversity and to distinguish between disapproval or kink shaming and simply having different taste.
DLDR: Donβt Like, Donβt Read: a phrase used to warn against complaints about an aspect of fic or meta. A βlive and let liveβ philosophy of fandom, which places the responsability for avoiding content one doesnβt want to see on the side of the fanwork consumer, rather that on the creatorβs.
SALS: Ship And Let Ship: similar to the above specifically about shipping tastes.
YMMV: Your Mileage May Vary: a phrase used to acknowledge that any given individualβs personal opinion on the topic at hand may differ due to their own tastes, standards, values, experiences, etc.
As the OP points out, all of these crucially imply no moral judgment of what theyβre designing.
(definitions lifted more or less wholesale from fanloreβs relevant pages)
Co-signing all of this. Bring back the ancient texts
Also I saw someone saying theyβd never use squick because itβs such a silly, made-up sounding word and I thought that this has been part of the problem. Fandom itself isnβt silly; it can be deeply meaningful (it has been to me!) however things can be deeply meaningful and silly. We (society) have got to stop acting like being childish is the worst thing you can do. Embrace silly whimsy.
Saying βthis squicks meβ is useful maybe because itβs a bit silly. It imparts no judgement. Itβs like βthis is about meβ And importantly it doesnβt water down other terms which have important clinical implications that I donβt think I need to name
That βcomment on your a03 workβ email hits like a line of cocaine every time. unmatched dopamine increase. shoutout to everyone who leaves a comment on fics. you deserve the world

Your f/o sees each of you as your own person, and respects each headmateβs boundaries. They would never try to force any sort of relationship with a headmate that is uninterested, and do not get insulted if one of you does not want to be with them in any way, shape, or form.

Thinking about how irl partner is def gonna comment on if I start preparing for Tsumugi's birthday just because he doesn't understand the whole yume thing, but if whenever I try to buy partner stuff for his birthday, he's impossible to shop for because he's bad at accepting gifts.
I wonder sometimes if Tsumugi is also bad at accepting gifts from people.
Anyway, I'm thinking of what to get Tsumugi for his birthday.
current creative tasklist I have, carried over from bsky:

Coming together with your headmates to make a character that's a plural allegory
Ok so we have this god in our lore called the Apex who has multiple different mortal forms that it refers to as "identities". These identifies each act independently from each other, often have completely different personalities and beliefs, can exist at the same time as one another, and interact with one another. Did I mention the Apex is genderfluid and uses any pronouns.
Tldr PLURAL ELDRITCH HORROR IS REAL!!!
this is plural joy!!!! hell yeah to creating characters together!!!!!
