When it happened and around that time, I had a performance really really close to her death and I said to her ‘How do you expect me to be able to do this now?’ and she said - I’d never really heard her swear - she said ‘You’ve got to effing do this’. And I kinda hear that a lot in my head. It’s important for me. I think she had a little bit of guilt that it would affect my career so I think it’s important for me just to stay disciplined and do it for both of us.”
