Tbh my mindset is I just can’t expect too much from Jack at this stage. Win or lose it will be a day to day journey to find his rhythm back meanwhile carefully manage his load of match and pains on his body. Like he said in pre tournament interviews, those injuries are too complicated and maybe his arm will never be the same as before. So maybe we will need to get used to him wearing the sleeve. The key is managing the load on his body: don’t push himself too much and don’t be afraid of using his body, and I hope his team is professional enough to help him assess it. It seems he hired a new physical trainer and I hope he’s kinda performance coach who is expertise in improving performance and body functioning, not just making Jack bulk up.

i think from his latest interview the pain on the arm might be a chronic issue that won't go away completely. but i don't think it is that bad currently. maybe the sleeve was for precautionary reasons, just like other players on tour always do. maybe he felt something because his arm hasn't adapt to the pressure of a tour match yet. anyway i think the forehand erros are still noticeable signals...it looks like he's not as 100% confident on his forehand as he did yesterday (might also credit to how jpj was playing).
