Hmm for aelix it's probably being stabbed by his mom. at least so FAR. I also feel like easy ones like broken ribs, dislocated joints, stuff from fistfights are common for the bodyguard-type characters.

Aelric is constantly getting his butt kicked. He's died multiple times, and there were those times he was turned into a dragon. The WORST injury though... a tie between getting stabbed in the heart and being nearly eaten by 4 vampires at once.

Aelix waiting for a pickup at a parking garage. Lately I've been trying to get back into drawing for fun and one of my favorite muses is my poor demon boy Aelix. He's a half demon that works as bodyguard/task rabbit for his local vampire organization. He's always getting himself into fights (sometimes on purpose) and he's not sure if tonight is going to go smoothly or not. I wanted him to feel grimy and gross, but unbothered.

Aelric hates himself because he loves using the power of the demon inside of him. It's violent and destructive, but to him it feels good and he hates that.

What he won't admit, or maybe he doesn't even realize it, is that he loves it the same way a dog loves the boot it's kicked with when that's the only way it knows how to be touched. Aelric does not have the power to free himself, so he learns to desire it.

If he realized it, he would probably hate that about himself too.
