THAT’S WHAT I SAID well, first i said it would be funny if they stole noah wylie in the first episode and just…kept forgetting to return him, but this was my second instinct.

Ok, but what if in his introduction it is made VERY clear it is not Nate. He has a name and a life and a past. All the OG cast members ignore this. They call him Nate, he answers to Nate. They make references to Nate’s past, he just nods alone. Every time he meets someone knew, he introduces himself by his actual name. But he never corrects anyone or implies to the crew he isn’t Nate. 

I would also accept this.
