If you straighten a Black character's hair I am Going to Get You.
If you make a Black character's lips or nose smaller I am Going to Get You.
If you are attempting to draw a Black character but are too afraid of their Blackness to draw them accurately, then you have two options:
A) Stop drawing Black characters if you have no interest in putting effort into portraying them.
B) Stop being afraid of portraying Blackness.
(B is the only option btw, not being racist is mandatory)
Blackness is real, so portray it. Blackness is not this fictional fantasy race you get to change and edit in your art to mix and match characteristics however you please. Yes sure, there are Black people with those features in real life, but are you sure thats really why every Black character you draw has straight hair, light skin, and a small nose and lips? Because I call bullshit. It doesn't matter if u have an anime art style or whatever, if you're going to draw Black characters (which you should) then you need to put effort in, you can find a way to make it fit your style later, besides getting out of your comfort zone and trying a new art style is not a bad thing, especially if ur art style is stopping you from portraying Black people. If thats the case then maybe it's time for a new art style.
