Do you need the person who hurt you to tell you I hurt you, and I'm sorry, and I feel awful that I did it. It's beautiful to get it, but do you need it? Do you not know how painful the pain was when you experienced it? Do you need them to tell you how painful it was and give you permission to feel it? You don't need it. The one who broke you can not heal you. You have to heal you. You can't expect the person who broke you into pieces to bring those pieces and say I'm going to put you back together. You can't do that. You can, but why would you choose to do that? Someone who has the power to destroy you and uses that power? Why would you trust them with rebuilding you?

BB's Birthday Should Be Nov 5th
Okay, can we set Nov 5th as BB's birthday? Just think about how perfectly it fits!
First of the first, Nov 5th is a fun festival too. It's the Bonfire Night, just like L's birthday is Halloween! We can still keep their similar dynamic.
Also, it would be fun to have L&B's birthdays so close and celebrating together. OR, after having a big celebration for L's birthday, no one cares B's coming up, which caused more childhood trauma for our poor kid.
Then on this day, British people can really go nuts for the fire. Everyone's setting everything on fire on Bonfire night. Some towns even fire canon on the street. BB would defiantly love it! (and do I even need to mention B's relationship with his lovely little spark?)
Most importantly, just consider this: in Death Note, L died on Nov 5th. It could be such an symbolism for B -- only when L dies, B can be born. How ironic it is, right?
