giving riri a potential corruption arc has to be one of the boldest things the mcu has done for a female character in a while. i LOVE that she’s stubborn and egotistical and doesn’t get over her grief and pushes people away. to end the season with her REGRESSING into moral grayness after all she’s learned thus far makes her so much more interesting and three dimensional.

One of my toxic cherik thoughts is that it's in no small part about the crazy telepathic intimacy going on and, yknow, the mind control powers. Crucially neither of them think it's weird and/or bad to be doing that but literally every other outside perspective is Really Uncomfortable. Charles thinks it's nice that he can make it stop. This is the same guy who thought giving Jean DID on purpose would be helpful
