For the Gemma Necklace there was a minor amount of trial and error – like with any new design – but none more than usual. The length came about pretty naturally as an extension of the of halo the beads themselves created in the necklace; it just seemed like it wanted to be a long piece! It comes in all sorts of lengths, though, so buyers can customize it as they choose which is a nice perk.
