I can’t believe I’d never seen this! It was absolutely fantastic--excepting of course the gross side-plot with the friend’s husband (how? how they allowed that? it wasn’t written that long ago!). But Robert, O-M-G.

The artistic choices are interesting and the cinematography is beautiful, but it’s too weird; I found the plot and the historical events incredibly hard to follow, even though I knew what happened.

So, three years later, I’ve finally watched the ending of The Borgias. IT WAS SO GOOD. I’ll miss them forever.
