Part-Time Witch; Full-Time Cat Lady

I was talking to an old coworker from my last job who left before me and she is miserable. I had declined an offer last year for a job in a different branch of the same organization and I’m so glad I didn’t take it. Sounds like it’s a nightmare.

Got some gardening done this morning while my his and B went to visit his Grandma and Grandpa. So glad the deer have left the hollyhocks alone this year. I’m assuming because they have shifted their attention to the hostas. I think I’m going to divide the hydrangea. It seems to be growing in 4 distinct sections so I’m going to move some to the front of the house which currently has chewed up hostas and peony that is done blooming.

First beach day in the books. Got to see lots of hermit crabs at low tide!
